CHAPTER 16 - TRYOUTS PART 2

POV - (L/N) (M/N)/ITOSHI (F/N)

I watched as Isagi-kun went right in between Rin-nii and Shidou-kun to send the ball right into the net. "Woah." I muttered.

My eyes were wide as I watched the boy tumble onto the ground. I smirked. 

-Seems like he's confused.- As I was walking, I saw Shidou-kun, Rin-nii, and Nanase-kun talking to him.

As I got closer, Rin-nii and Shido-kun started to fight which made me panic. "RIN! SHIDOu-KUN! QUIT IT!" I yelled.

Isagi-kun and Hiori-kun clung onto the insect-looking man while me and Nanase-kun tried to stop Rin-nii. 

"Oh, hell ya. A fight." A boy commented.

I looked over my shoulder to see one of the opponents just sitting and watching us.

"A LITTLE HELP!?" I asked. The intercom started to ring. 

"ANY FURTHER ACTS OF VIOLENCE DURING THE SECTION WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION! BREAK UP NOW AND GET READY FOR THE NEXT MATCH!" Teieri-san yelled.

I watched as everyone besides Rin-nii, Shidou-kun, and I left.

"(M/N), you play first with me. You bug ass antennaed freak, stand at the side." Rin-nii said.

"And why should I?" The boy asked.

Before the 2 could fight again, the other team came in along with the other 3 males on our team. 

"Just go to the side, Shidou-kun. There is no need for a fight." I said.

I looked at the new boys. I didn't know any of them besides Aryu-kun.

"Aryu-kun!" I greeted him. "(M/N)-kun!" He smiled back.

I then looked at the other teams players. I made eye contact with Reo and Seishiro. We all then smirked. 

"Don't think I'm gonna go easy on you, Reo, Seishiro!" I yelled.

"I would beat your ass if you did!" Reo yelled. "Don't even think about it!" Seishiro yelled.

I giggled and went into position. -May the best team win.-

*Timeskip*

In the end, my team won with a score of 5-3. 

I was able to approach Seishiro and Reo but I felt the air surrounding them and decided to give them some time to themselves. 

Each game, Shidou-kun and I switched and sometimes Rin-nii so in the end, we never lost a round.

At the last match, Rin-nii was able to score the last goal, bumping against Shidou-kun once again. 

But the fighting really crossed the line this time as Shidou-kun was ready to axle kick Rin-nii. 

My body reacted on its own and in no time, I ran right to Rin-nii and pushed him to the side.

I shut my eyes, waiting for the impact when I heard a thud. 

I opened my blue/teal/green eyes and saw Shidou-kun on the ground in shock. 

"Give it a fucking rest already. You even made me use the anti-riot shock. Now that the matches are all over, the tryouts are also over. Six hours from now, I will be announcing the regulars for the match." Ego-san sighed.

I heard Ego-san talk. As everyone went off the field, I was left with Rin-nii. 

I felt his eyes burning holes in the back of my head as I went to get a med kit to clean up his cuts.
