"Hey, Harry," the green-eyed boy looked up, he was in the same hallway, eating his lunch quietly, and he smiled. "Hi," Louis smiled at him, "Can I show you something?" Harry nodded and stood up before putting his lunch in his bag. Louis waved at him to follow before he started walking out a door that led to the courtyard, he led the boy to the far corner of the courtyard where there was a big oak tree with lots of shade.

"I know you're not a big fan of crowded places and not a lot of people go here, so I thought I'd show you if you ever want time to yourself," Harry blushed, "Thanks, that's very sweet of you," he smiled a dimpled smile, Louis sat down and waved him over. "Come on, come sit we still have twenty minutes left," Harry giggled and sat down next to him, Annie laid down by their feet and rolled on her side.

"Can I pet her?" Harry nodded with a smile, the green-eyed boy moved over a bit and motioned Annie to sit between them. Louis let her sniff his hand before he gently pets her head, "She's so soft and fluffy," Harry giggled softly as he continues to eat his food.

They were in art class now and Harry was starting a new painting, he already did the sketch, and now he was about to start on the painting. "Are you painting Annie?" Harry nodded, "That's cute," Louis smiled, making Harry giggle and blush softly. "What are you going to paint, "I don't know yet," he chuckled, "I'll figure it out soon, you can't rush art," Harry nodded with a giggle as he started mixing some paints together.

Once class was over Louis walked over to Harry's locker with him, "Hey, do you wanna come over to my place and hang out?" Harry bit his lips with a blush. "Uh, sure," Annie booped him with her nose, signaling that his heart rate was rising. "You alright? You seem nervous," Louis asked him softly, "Yeah, I'm fine," Louis nodded, "Alright, here's my number, I'll text you my address," Harry nodded and took the slip of paper.

Once Harry was at home he put the number in his phone before texting it, after a few minutes, Louis texted him with his address. He decided to leave Annie at home and walk because Louis' house wasn't that far.

After a few minutes of walking, he heard footsteps behind him, he turned his head and realized it was the group of kids from school. He started walking faster, only to hear the group of kids' footsteps become quicker. Harry was grabbed by his shoulder and turned around before he was punched in the nose.

"Where's your dog now, freak?" one of them asked, "L-Leave me alone," they laughed and Harry was punched again before he was pushed to the ground. Another kid kicked him in the ribs, making tears prick his eyes, he was kicked a few more times before he heard laughing and footsteps quickly running away.

He slowly got up, his side ached in pain as he did so, before he started running, he knew Louis' house wasn't much farther, and he just wanted to be somewhere safe. Once he got to the right house, he knocked, tears were streaming down his face from pain, his nose was bleeding, and he was pretty sure bruises were already forming on his sides.

"Oh my god, Harry what happened?" Louis asked as he gently pulled the boy into the house, he guided him upstairs and to his room. Louis sat them both on his bed, Harry was crying and his body was shaking, "T-The k-kids from s-school," Harry's breath was getting short and strained, "Where's Annie?"

"A-At h-home," Harry's breath was getting shorter and more ragged, Louis wrapped his arms around the green-eyed boy, "It's alright, you're safe now," he pulled the boy close to his chest and exaggerated his breathing. Harry's hands were clenched tightly into fists, Louis gently grabbed his hands and unclenched them.

"It's alright, you're okay, I promise," Harry's breathing was slowly coming back to normal as Louis rubbed his back and hugged him tightly. After about fifteen more minutes, Harry was almost completely calm, "Let me get some stuff to clean you up, alright?" the boy nodded and loosened his grip on the blue-eyed boy.

Once Louis came back, he sat down on the bed and opened an antiseptic wipe, he cradled the younger's cheek before he started wiping the dried blood off of his face. His cheek was bruised and so was his lip, "I'm so sorry this happened to you, you shouldn't have to go through that,"

Harry sniffled and slightly adjusted so he was facing Louis more, he winced, "Where else did they hurt you?" he asked, "T-They kicked me in t-the ribs," Louis wiped his tears with the pad of his thumb. "Do you mind if I look?" Harry nodded, "You can look,"

The older helped Harry slowly lay down before letting him lift his shirt, the green-eyed boy's side was completely bruised with blue and black marks along with a few small cuts from their shoes. "I'm so sorry this happened, Haz, you didn't deserve this," he told him as he wiped the boy's cuts clean with another antiseptic wipe.

Once he was done, he threw all the trash away and helped Harry sit back up, "Harry, why didn't you bring Annie with you, you know I don't mind," Harry shrugged, "I know but I didn't know if your parents would be okay with it and she needed a break," Louis hugged him, "I promise you, my parents would be okay with it, we used to have a dog but she passed away a few years ago,"

"I'm sorry about your dog, what kind of dog was she?" Louis smiled, "She was a golden retriever, she actually looked a lot like Annie," Harry bit his lip as he smiled, "Really?" Louis nodded. "The only difference was that her fur was a bit darker," Harry's smile widened a bit, "What what her name?"

"Molly,"
