TW: Panic Attack

~~

Louis practically jumped off the couch when the doorbell rang, he smiled, and went to the door, when he opened it he saw Harry and Anne, but no Annie. Anne was holding a freshly baked apple pie, "Come on in," Louis' smile became wider as he moved out of the way. Harry's cheeks were bright red and he was absentmindedly tapping his fingers against his thumb, Louis pulled him aside after telling Anne where the kitchen was.

"Hazza, where's Annie?" the younger looked down at his feet, "She's at home," Louis made the boy look at him. "Why? I said you could bring her," Harry bit his lip, "I know, but I don't want me or her to get in the way of things, and I don't want anyone to think I'm a baby because I can't talk to new people,"

The older kissed his forehead, "Love, you're not a baby, and I promise you no one is going to think or say that, they already know so much about you and they're dying to meet you, and Annie," the green-eyed boy blushed with a small smile.

Anne walked into the kitchen with a smile, seeing a woman with long brown hair and blue eyes, "Hey, Johanna, it's nice to see you again, and this time it's not at a hospital vending machine," the woman chuckled softly, "It's nice to see you again too, Anne. How's Harry been?" she asked as she took the turkey out of the oven.

"He's been great," Johanna took her oven mitts off and took the pie from Anne, "That's good, and thank you for the pie, you didn't have to," Anne smiled, "I couldn't help it," Johanna laughed softly and placed it on the counter. "Did you guys bring Annie?" Harry's mom shook her head, "No, Harry insisted on not bringing her," Johanna frowned slightly, "That's a shame, I got her a little pie at the store, saw it in the pet section and I couldn't help myself," Anne smiled, "We'll bring it home with us, I'm sure Annie will love it,"

As Louis introduce Harry to his grandparents, he kept his hand on the small of the younger's back. The green-eyed boy's anxiety was already extremely high, and Louis noticed, "Relax love, you're okay, I promise," he whispered into Harry's ear.

"I-I can't d-do it," he murmured with a shaky breath, Louis kissed his head, "C-Can't b-breath," the older got up and quickly brought Harry to his room. "It's okay, baby, I've got you," he whispered as he sat the boy on the bed and pulled him close to his chest, Harry was shaking as he clenched and unclenched his hands into tight fists.

Louis laid down as he pulled Harry with him, letting the younger rest his head on his chest. The green-eyed boy's grip tightened on Louis' hoodie as he breathed shakily. "I've got you, you're okay, love, I promise," he whispered, rubbing his hand along the smaller's spine.

"S-Sorry," was the first word that came out of Harry's mouth, "Love, you don't need to say sorry, I know it's hard for you to meet and talk to new people, I'm not upset or anything, I promise," he told him before kissing his forehead. Harry buried his face into the crook of Louis' neck, "Do you want me to ask your mum if she can go get Annie?" the boy nodded, "Alright, I'll be back in a minute, you stay here and relax, okay?" Harry nodded with a small smile on his face as Louis got up and left the room.

Before Louis came back, Lottie walked it, "You alright, Harry?" the boy shrugged, "I-I just don't like meeting new people, and it makes it even harder when it's your guys' family," she smiled at him and sat on the edge of the bed. "Want a hug?" the green-eyed boy smiled softly and nodded as he sat up, Lottie gave him a gentle hug, "Thank you," Harry murmured, Lottie smiled at him "Of course,"

"And Harry, try not to worry about it too much, Louis talks about you all the time, and our grandparents already like you," Harry blushed softly with a smile, "Thanks, Lottie," she gave him a soft smile back, "No problem, Harry," she replied before leaving the room.

After another minute Louis came back into the room, "How are you feeling, love?" Harry smiled at him, "Better," the older kissed his forehead before laying down next to him. "Good, and your mum said she would go get Annie," the green-eyed boy nodded, "Thank you,"

The blue-eyed boy moved down so they were face to face, "Can I kiss you, baby?" the younger smiled before leaning forward and connecting their lips. Once they pulled away, Louis combed his fingers through the younger's curls, "I love your curly hair," Harry giggled and buried his face into the crook of Louis' neck with a blush.

~

Once Anne came back, Annie quickly found Harry in Louis' room, she jumped on the bed and licked his and Louis' cheek before laying down at their feet. "Do you think you're ready to go back downstairs, dinner should be ready soon?" Harry nodded "Yeah, I'm feeling better now,"

Louis kissed his nose before getting off the bed, he held his hands out, letting the younger take them before pulling Harry to his feet. Once they were downstairs they sat on one of the couches, Annie sat in front of Harry with her head on his lap. They talked with Louis' family for a bit before Johanna called everyone to the dinner table, Louis' mom pulled him to the side for a moment, "If you two want to go up to your room to eat, that's fine," the blue-eyed boy smiled at her, "Thanks, mum,"

When they got to Louis' room they sat on the bed, "You alright, Haz?" the boy nodded, "Yeah, sorry, I probably embarrassed you didn't I?" Louis frowned and shook his head. "Love, no, you didn't embarrass me at all, I promise," Harry's eyes were welling with tears, "You sure?" Louis pulled him closer and kissed him, "Yes, I'm sure, baby,"

A tear escaped as it rolled down Harry's cheek, Louis was quick to wipe it away, "Don't cry, my love, I promise you didn't embarrass me. I understand that you don't like meeting new people, and I understand that it's hard for you to do that, and it's okay, I know you're not doing this on purpose," Harry gave him a small smile, "Thanks Lou," Harry gave Annie a piece of turkey, which she quickly ate before wagging her tail.

~

"Haz, do you wanna stay over?" the green-eyed boy nodded, Louis smiled and connected their lips, and the younger lost his balance and fell back onto the bed. The curly-headed boy laughed and so did Louis, he looped his arm around Harry's waist and pulled him closer, "You're laugh is adorable,"

Harry blushed and buried his face into the crook of Louis' neck as he smiled, "Hey, don't hide your blush, I love your blush, it's one of the cutest things I've ever seen," Harry's cheeks darkened as he tilted his head to look at Louis. The blue-eyed boy cradled his cheek before pulling him into a kiss, the younger smiled as he kissed him back.
