It was Saturday, it was 9:28 in the morning, and Harry was already awake pacing his room nervously, Louis would be here any minute. They were finally going to the fair for their first date, Annie quietly barked at him to get him to stop pacing, she was also ready to go, she had her harness on as her tail wagged.

There was a knock on the door, Harry flinched a little and quickly made his way down the stairs with Annie close behind. He opened the door with a nervous smile and blushy cheeks, "Hey Haz, you alright?" he asked, Annie booped Harry twice telling him his heart rate was going extremely fast.

"I'm alright," he bit his lip, Louis smiled softly at him, "Are you and Annie ready to go?" Harry nodded, "I just need to grab my bag with her stuff in it," Louis smiled and nodded as he watched the younger grab the backpack. Once they were in Louis' car Annie sat by Harry's feet and rested her head on his lap, Harry continuously petted her nervously.

"Harry, I can tell you're nervous, do you not want to go to the fair because there's going to be many people?" Harry shook his head, "No, well, sort of," Louis raised a brow. "Am I making you nervous?" he asked, the green-eyed boy nodded with a blush, "There's no need to be nervous, love," Harry smiled softly, "I can't help it," Louis chuckled softly and grabbed his hand before kissing his knuckles.

"I know, but you don't have to be nervous around me, I want to make sure you have fun too, and not have to worry about things or be nervous about things," Harry's cheeks darkened as he nodded. "Now, let's get to the fair shall we?" Harry giggled softly as Louis started the car and pulled out of the driveway.

Once they were at the fair, Louis bought their tickets even though Harry insisted on paying for his, but Louis said he was the one who asked him out on a date, so it was only fitting if he paid. "What do you want to do first?" the older asked him, "Let's do the mirror maze!" he said as he grabbed Louis' wrist and pulled him along.

After a while, Annie noticed that Harry was getting overstimulated and anxious, she booped him with her nose, and she booped Louis to get his attention. He looked at Annie, and then at Harry, he saw it too, "Haz, you wanna find a quiet place to take a break?" he asked with a soft smile.

The younger nodded, "Yeah," Louis grabbed the boy's hand before lacing their fingers together, guiding him through the crowd as he tried to find a calmer spot. After a few minutes of walking, the older found a calmer spot to sit, a small oak tree with enough shade for the three of them.

"Alright, let's sit and take a break, yeah?" Harry nodded, Louis, sat down and gently pulled Harry down with him, Annie laid in between his legs and rested her head on his thighs. The green-eyed boy closed his eyes and leaned his head on the older's shoulder, Louis leaned his head on top of Harry's with a soft smile on his face.

After about fifteen minutes, Harry was feeling better, "Hey Haz, I'm gonna get us a funnel cake, do you want to come with, or do you wanna stay here?" Harry smiled, "I'll stay here, I don't think I'm ready to be in a big group of people yet," Louis nodded, "Alright," he kissed his forehead before getting up and walking toward the funnel cake stand. The younger's cheeks were bright red as a big smile appeared on his face.

Louis comes back around five minutes later with a funnel cake that was topped with powdered sugar, ice cream, and chocolate sauce. Harry grabbed Annie's bowls and put some food and water in them for her, "How are you feeling, Haz?" he asked as he sat back down next to him. "I'm doing better, thank you," he blushed and leaned his head on the older's shoulder, "After we finish the funnel cake do you wanna go play some games?" Harry nodded with a smile.

It was now a little past eight at night, they were about to leave the fair but Harry pulled Louis toward the Ferris wheel once they started walking passed it. Louis smiled as he laced their fingers together, they waited in line for about ten minutes before they got on the ride, they were the only people to get on the ride this time around since people were starting to leave the fair.

Annie was by their feet as the ride started moving, once they were at the top, the worker stopped the ride for a minute so they could look at the view. Louis grabbed Harry's hand and squeezed it gently, the boy looked at him with a soft blush as he smiled. The blue-eyed boy cradled the younger's cheek, leaning in as he pulled the boy closer before connecting their lips.

Harry kissed him back with a smile never leaving his lips, they pulled away when the ride started moving. The younger's heart was racing as he blushed, Annie rested her head on Harry's lap, and Louis was still holding his hand tightly with a smile on his face.

They were now in Louis' car, "Thank you for today," Harry told him as he grabbed Louis' hand in his, the blue-eyed boy leaned over and kissed his cheek. "I hope you had fun because I did," Harry nodded, "I had so much fun, thank you, you made this the best first date I've ever had," Louis blushed softly and smiled before kissing the green-eyed boy's cheek again.

Once they got back to Harry's house, Louis walked with him and Annie up to the door. Louis turned him around and pulled him into a hug, "Thank you for today, Lou," Louis smiled and pulled away from the hug. "Can I kiss you?" the younger nodded with a blush, Louis cradled his cheeks and pulled him in, connecting their lips in a soft kiss.

After a minute they pulled away, "Goodnight, Hazza, see you Monday," Harry nodded with a dimpled smile, "Night, Lou," Louis kissed his cheek before pulling away and walking back to his car. The younger opened his front door with a big smile and blushy cheeks, he ran up to his room and squealed into his pillow, Annie laid down next to him and gently licked his cheek.
