No Trivia – The continuation
Chapter 9 – Like it or not.
Tori's POV
It had been an eventful day, first I melt down because, Jade referred to me as My girl, something which I wanted to be since Jade poured that coffee on my head. Well, maybe not that exact moment, but a little bit after that. Probably when the urge to take a baseball bat to her kneecaps, went away.
Then Jade had her meltdown a moment later, when she realized just how much she hurt me. Then Trina thew a monkey wrench into the works and messed up Jade really good. Completely undermining all we had accomplished in the last couple of days.
Thankfully, I stuck to my guns and made her cuddle with me until she got it through that thick skull of hers that, I love her and always would. That I would never give up on her and that was that. She melted down again, that was bound to happen.
We weren't out of the woods yet and each of us will probably melt down a dozen times more before, we've really gotten ourselves on a solid footing.
Jade after letting me know she was alright now, she cried quietly, her head resting on my chest. After a short time, she quieted down and was content to lay there.
Once the movie, An American in Paris, ended, we saw that Singing in the Rain Came on. We ordered pizza and watched another movie. Little was said. For once we were simply content to eat semi-decent pizza, cuddle and be in love. And you know what, it felt magical.
Once singing in the rain ended, Jade mumbled something about watching tv for hours and not seeing anyone get killed, so I told her to put on something else. She picked a 1960 British Horror film called "Horror Hotel" starring Christopher Lee. It involved a small New England town run by Satan worshipers. However, I started to drift off about halfway through.
Jade moved off the couch and took my hand. "Come on Vega" Let's get you too Bed."
"You keep watching. I can get myself ready for bed."
A scowl was Jade's immediate reply. "You need to take it easy. You going to let me help you or are we going to have problems."
I noticed that Jade put a somewhat menacing tone of voice in the word, problems. That told me that Jade intended to help me, whether I like it or not. Knowing perfectly well, that arguing would be pointless and only make Jade angry. I nodded.
She carefully led me to the bedroom and got out my sleeping clothes for me and helped me dress. I'll admit I liked the attention. Once I was finished in the bathroom, which Jade insisted on supervising. All accept me using the toilet, which I insisted on doing myself. Much to Jade's displeasure.
Jade obviously wants to prove to me she can be a good girlfriend and I more than understand that. It touches my heart. But Jade is also prone to going overboard or in other cases being quite fanatical about things. This is going to be one of those cases. We will have to talk about it later. But I do like to be pampered.
Once I was tucked into bed, Jade smiled. "Are you good now?"
"I want a story" I said, with a mischievous grin.
"Once there was an annoying girl who asked for a story and was never seen again. The end!" Jade replied with an annoying grunt.
I immediately pouted. "I want a story with princesses."
