jace pov

when she finishes her song I say ''wow that was amazing'' and she jumps and spins to face me her eyes wide, but when she notices its just me she relaxes ''sorry, I didn't mean to give you a fright'' I say walking a bit closer ''I didn't realise you had followed me'' she murmurs looking at the floor. there was a faint blush appearing on her cheeks. I walk even closer to her, the cut on her cheek stood out against her fair pale skin ''im sorry'' I say and she looks up at me ''what for'' ''I didn't stop him, I should have stopped him'' I say, my voice breaking with emotion

clary pov

I don't understand what's going on, why is jace apologising for what Jonathan did ''it wasn't your fault'' I say ''but he hurt you'' I swear I could see a flash of anger in his eyes, he is standing right in front of me now, his hand goes to my cheek and he carefully moves his thumb along the side of my massive cut but I don't move it away ''its nothing I cant handle'' I whisper ''but he-'' ''jace im fine'' I feel a strong need to comfort him

''remember a few days ago when I said you were so pretty'' not this again, he is just being mean now, my hand covers his as if to move it ''jace don't-'' but he cuts me off ''I meant it clary, you are beautiful, the most beautiful girl I have ever met'' ''jace-'' I try to cut in but he doesn't stop ''and your right, I probably could have any girl I wanted'' great. thanks. just rub it in why don't you ''but I don't want just any girl'' what?????

''they're not you and I want you clarissa morgenstern'' did he just say he wants me, after everything he has foun out about me ''jace I don't und-'' but this time im cut of by his lips pressing forcefully on mine as if in hunger. it takes me a few seconds to take in whats happening but as soon as I do I respond and kiss him back, my arms wapping around his neck and his hand that wasn't still on my cheek wrapping around my waist.

he pulls me closer to him and can feel the hard planes of his muscles against my chest and stomach. his hands make their way down to my thighs and he pulls me up so that that he is carrying me and I wrap my legs around him.

he then starts walking around the big grand piano and places me on top of it. I open my legs so that he can fit in between the space all while our lips were still connected

his tongue then traces over my lower lip and my lips part granting him entrance. I make a soft moaning noise as his tongue explores my mouth. this clearly turns him on as his hands which are still wrapped around me tightens.

then the bell goes... great... we both pull away panting and out of breath, our foreheads touching ''god iv wanted to do that for a long time'' jace grins, his cute grin that shows off his chipped tooth.

jace helps me down from the piano and i can feel a massive blush spreading over my face, then he surprises m by taking my hand and leading me to the door.

we walk out of the music room an into the school rush and jace walks me to my next class which is the history of shadowhunters... yayy.. three whoops for school... note the sarcasm

after we get to the door I smile and mumble and a thank you to jace and turn to go in but he grabs my arm and pulls me back giving me gentle lingering kiss.

when I get in I take my usual seat next to Izzy who is watching me intensely ''where did you and jace disappear to and why are you blushing'' she asks, her eyes turning into small slits so that I can barely see her dark brown eyes

I don't reply and I look down to the floor trying to cover my face with my hair but I can feel my entre face heating up thinking about what just happened in the music room.

clearly I don't hide my blush as well as I thought because Izzy suddenly screams causing the whole class to turn and see what is going on. but she pays no attention to them ''no, fucking, way'' she squeals ''you are coming to mine straight after school to tell me everything and I mean EVERYITHING''
