part 4

So when i jumped through the portal i ended up landing in lake lynn. Lucky for me i didnt take any into my system.

I then spent at least a day and a haf trecking home. I wasnt in any particular rush so i probably didnt get their as fast as i could but when i walked through the front door of my house covered in dirt and cuts made by my brothers demon whip, my mother was frantic and luke was trying to calm her down

They didnt seem to nitice i had walked in. Mum was pacing the living room with her hands raking through her hair over and over again.

''Jocelyn, calm down im sure shes fine'' luke was watching my mum pacing with his arms crossed.

''But you heard what they said'' she whined ''sebastian attacked her at school''

''And they also said she mysteriously disappeared through a portal. And we both know that when she jumps through them he cant follow her''

''But what if he has her. Do you know what, ill just go to valentine and demand a trade, me for her''

Luke was about to say something but i interuoted before he got the chance ''now thats just beyond your level of stupidity''

They both whized around to look at me and mum screamed my name attackimg me in hugs and kisses ''luke's right mum, i know how to look after myself''

Mum then let go of me and properly looked at me, her hand flying to her mouth ''clary...'' she squealed ''why havent you put on and iratz yet''

''Demon metal'' was all i could be bothered saying. I honestly just wanted to go have a shower and sleep. I looked at luke for help and he walked over to jocelyn prying her off me

''Im sure clary wasnt to go clean up and rest. She will be fine jocelyn'' he said but he gave me a concerned look. I gave him a reasuring smile and rushed to my bedroom.

I stripped off my dirty clothes and hopped into my shower for about half an hour.

Mum kept me home an extra day and i have at least 100 missed calls and messages from jace, izzy, simon, alec and magnus.  All of which i ignored.

Im going back to school today whether my mum likes it or not. And im not scared that Sebastian will attack me again, im scared of how everyones going to act around me.

I crawl out of bed and head into my bathroom to shower. When i get out i put on my black vest top, green hoody, faded skinny jeans and my doc martins.

I then head over to the miror. There is still a massive red mark thats not healed properly from my temple to my chin.

Unfortunately runes dont heal wounds made by demon metal and theres only so much a warlock (that isnt magnus) can do.

I pop on some eyeliner and mascara, grab my stuff, head downstairs and grab a quick breakfast..

After that i head to school.....yayy...... note the sarcasm.
