Puppy Love. A Kiba x Reader.

Ch.9

After Winning the battle against Shino Kurenai makes Hinata and Kiba fight.

You sit back on the dirty ground and watch. You were astonished to see Kiba beat Hinata. So far Hinata hasn't had one win.

Hinata picks her self off the ground looking sad. She has very few scratches on her but she still managed to lose.

"Hinata do you need any healing? "You ask the girl as she takes a seat beside you.

"N-No I'm okay I'm just Weak..."

You frown at her. "That's not true! Your byakugan is strong! Combat takes time to master and you'll get better."

Hinata looks down "Without my Byakugan I'm useless." Tears form at the corner of her eyes. You look at her with sympathy.

"Practic makes perfect Hinata. I believe in you."

Kurenai steps farward "F/n's right. Hinata your not the first to struggle with combat training and you won't be the last. You just have to keep at it and not give up."

Hinata nods drying her tears.

"Naruto is a good example you know Hinata."

Hinata smiles softly and blushes "Yeah! I have to do my best just like Naruto-kun. He never gives up no matter what."

Kiba rolls his eyes "Here we go again."

"Hush Kiba." You scold him.

Kiba pouts

"You will get better Hinata I just know it." Shino says. He doesn't say that much so this is saying something.

"Thank you guys for the support. I really appreciate it." Hinata says feeling a lot better.

"We're a team, we got your back."

Everyone nods agreeing with you. Hinata looks at you all and smiles.

"Thank you."

As training continues you keep a eye on Hinata. In all honesty you felt bad for her and you know that's one thing she didn't want anyone to feel. You noticed minor improvements with her fighting even if she didn't.

"Alright you all battled each other. You all pass my expectations. Please go home and get the needed rest you deserve."

"I'm super hungry, Anyone for Ramen? I'll buy"

You look between your teammates

Kiba rubs his nose with his finger. "Well when you put it that way. Moms on a mission and my sister can't cook crap so I'm in."

"Thank you for offering but my mom will probably cook dinner tonight." Hinata says softly

"Same here." Shino adds.

"So just me and Kiba?"

Akamaru barks.

"Sorry Akamaru I didn't forget you."

The Team split ways and you with Kiba and Akamaru. Your almost to your destination.

"F/n thanks for paying. I'll pay you back."

You shake your head "You don't have to. I'm good at saving up money so you'd be surprised."

You both are dirty and have stains from training on your clothes but it's not like either of you care.

"Here we are.. oh how I can't wait."

"You love ramen don't you f/n?"

"Heck ya it's the best. What about you?"

Kiba shakes his head as he takes a seat. "I'm more of a bbq fan."

"Oooh that's good too!"

As you two sit at Ichiraku's you eat your ramen with little conversation until you both finish.

"Man that was good!" You say patting your stomach.

"You got that right." Kiba does the same. You pay Ichiraku then you turn to leave.

"F/n it's dark let me walk you home."

You turn to Kiba and wave your hands dismissively.
"Oh no it's okay really."

"Come on really. My house is on the way anyway. I'm not gonna let a pretty girl walk home alone even if she is a skilled ninja."

You blush softly at his comment "T-Thank you Kiba..shall we go then?"

Kiba nods and you both begin your journey home. The walk was silent and the two of you focused more on the night sky than eachother.

"It's beautiful right? I love our night sky."

Kiba nods. Akamaru fell asleep in Kibas arms not to long ago.

"It really is. Not like I'm a sap or anything." He says making you laugh.

"Kiba it's okay to show emotion and be sappy. I like it."

Kiba blushes "You do?"

"Mhm.. I love when your open with me too. It makes my heart flutter."

Hearing this Kiba blushes more.  "W-wha?! I make your heart flutter?!"

You look at him and giggle "is that bad?"

"N-no.. I mean it can be. In actuality you might want to have your health looked at."

You sweat drop "I highly doubt that's the reason. I'll get on that though."

Soon you arive at you home. You look up to see Aihas apartment lights are on and music is being played. You see two silhouette passed the curtains. One with particularly spiky hair.

Aiha Sensei must be with Kakashi..

"I'll see you tomorrow F/n." Kiba waves at you. You wave back. "Yeah thanks for walking me home Kiba. Be safe."

"No problem bye"

And with that he was gone and you are inside. You smile feeling your heart flutter.

"I know it wasn't a date but I'm going to pretend it was.. hehe!"

You lock your door then go to get in the shower to wash all the dirt and grime away.

"You could let me out while you shower since you kept me in all day. "

You sigh and touch your cursemark. With a beam of light Kira appears in puppy form.

"Just none of that puppy mischief."

Kira barks and runs out of the bathroom.

"Now for a nice shower.."

As soon as the water hits your body you sigh happily. It washes away all the hard work you put into todays practice. After you finish showering you step out and wrap a towel around your body. Once you step into your bedroom you look around and frown.

"Kira where are you?"

A bark comes from the living room. You dry your hair with a spare towel as you make your way to the living room. Once your there your mouth drops.

"Kira I said no puppy mischief!! The pillow! It's torn to shreds!"

You hold up the pillow and show Kira. She wines with her ears down.

You sigh "just forget it.. I need to get ready for bed."

Kira is a adult wolf inside of you but in familiar form she's a puppy and has puppy tendencies. She's a wolf what can you do.
