Ch. 38

The wedding was nice and beautiful but to Kiba it was sorta boring and you can understand that. However the after party contained a whole buffet so he isn't complaining too much.

"Man Akamaru is missing out."

You laugh as you sit down with you full plate.

"You could have brought him. He's really well behaved."

"Mom said it might not be appropriate.. I told her it was okay but she ended up winning the debate."

"They do say mother knows best."

You both start to laugh.

"So did you hear Naruto convinced lady Tsunade to be hokage?"

"Naruto convinced her?" You raise a brow.

"That's just what he said. Thats why we now have a hokage."

You shake your head "That Naruto.. Aiha Sensei mentioned she would talk to Tsunade about my test for Jonin."

"How long will you be away. My sister was away for a couple of weeks. Some missions last for months though."

"I don't know yet, hopefully I'm not gone for to long."

"I'll miss you" Kibas eyes widen at what he has just said and he slightly blushes.

You blush "Really? I'll miss you too."

The atmosphere around you two felt flustered. Until Aiha Sensei trots over.

"Congratulations Aiha Sensei!"

"Thank you f/n. Are you two enjoying yourselves?"

Kiba nods "Yeah I am. Congratulations by the way."

"I am too."

"Thank you, well I'll leave you be."

Aiha leaves your table.

"It's getting late. After we eat we should take our leave." You tell Kiba.

Kiba nods "as long as you don't ask me to dance."

You giggle "No, I don't dance."

Your eyes widen when a slow song comes on.  Kiba and you look away from each other.

Aiha makes her way over to you two.

"You two should dance together. It's not hard come on." Aiha drags you both to the dance floor despite you pleas. You and Kiba look at each other and stand there blushing. Aiha sighs.

"Like this." Aiha scoots you two closer together, she places your hands on Kibas shoulders then moves his hands onto your hips. You both blush at the contact.

"Now just sway back and forth." You both hesitate but do as she says.

"That's perfect but loosen up some and have some fun."

Aiha leaves you two alone to dance. You make a bold move and step closer wrapping your arms around his neck. Kiba stares at you like he's taking in every one of your features.

"This is nice." You say.

"Yeah, it's not as bad as I thought it would be."

Both of you stare into each others eyes and in a way you get lost in them. You move your body even closer to Kiba. Kiba looks at your lips making your heart speed up. The decent gap between you two gets closer and closer.

This is it, a kiss..

Just as Kibas lips hover over yours Kakashi taps on Kibas shoulder.

"May I cut in?"

Kibas eyes widen and he steps back. "Yes, right."

You frown when Kiba let's go of you. He then walks off to your table. Kakashi holds out his hand. "May I have this dance?"

You giggle and take his hand. "I'm not the best dancer but sure."

Kakashi smoothly leads the dance and in all honesty you didn't know he could dance. He twirls you around making you laugh in enjoyment. The song ends and he bows to you then you both go your separate way. Laughing you go back to your table to find Kibas eyes on you. He's been watching you since he let Kakashi cut in.

"You dance really good." Kiba tells you.

You smile softly "Kakashi is good at leading."

After a while you decide to leave. Kiba is walking by your side walking you home.

"The stars are so pretty." You mumble out. Kiba looks at you.

"Beautiful.."

He surprises you by taking your hand. You smile softly with a blush.

"I had a good time." You tell him

"So did I."

After walking hand in hand for 10 minutes your at your door.

"Thank you for walking me."

"No problem. I have to make sure you get home safe." Kiba rubs the back of his head.

You bite your lip and lean in closer to him, you place a kiss on his cheek."I'll see you.."

"Y-Yeah.."

Kiba POV

As Kiba walks home his right hand touches his cheek.

"I think I love her.. dang.."
