You take his hand something that comes almost natural now. No your not dating to be honest you haven't really talked about it. He didn't question your confession nor did you discuss it further.
"They just want to make sure your fully healed. I know your restless but have patience."
Kiba squeezes your hand "At least I have you with me. Thanks for that."
"I'm always going to be here for you. No matter what."
"Even when your gone?" He says looking down. Kiba is referring to your years long trip with Aiha coming up. Your going to be gone for 4 years and he's not okay with that.
"Apparently there's more I can learn from Aiha Sensei and from my mom. I'm going to get stronger like you."
"Yeah but 4 years? That's a lot."
You smile and look down at Akamaru as he walks by Kibas side.
"Yeah it is. I expect you to be able to defeat me in a fight by the time I come back."
"I'll take you right now.!!"
You pur and laugh "Easy now pup~ your still on lock down."!
"Yeah well, I want to know something."
"And what's that?"
"Do you love me?" At his bold questioning you blush and stop walking.
"K-Kiba.. "
Kiba smiles a big smile "I know. I want to hear it again."
You gently punch his shoulder. "Do YOU love me??"
Kiba now becomes a blushing mess "W-Well.. I mean I."
You sigh "I love you, your my best friend."
It's not a lie.
Kiba looks at you as you look down.
"Same." He says with a smile.
