Chapter 1: Them Girls

Hand in hand, Leo and I walked through the halls of Londres High. I sneaked a glance at Leo, hoping he wouldn't notice. I sighed inside my head and tightened my grip on his hand. He smiled slyly as the Them Girls swooned around him. Them Girls. Meaning the popular, pretty girls. Otherwise known as bitches.

I frowned slightly. Every girl in the school had a crush on Leo. So did I. Except he didn't know that.

You could say my life is really good. I have a family, I have education, I have food.. all that stuff. I also have Leo. Him. My best friend. Forever. Sometimes I just wish we were...more.

I sighed again and stopped, leaning against my locker.

"I gotta go," I said to Leo.

"I know... English class right?"

"Yup," I said, rolling my eyes. Leo squeezed my hand quickly and continued walking to his science class. I watched him until he turned the corner and walked into the classroom.
