Him. Unfaithful.

Chapter 3

"Lauren! Over here!" I couldn't help but grin as Leo waved to me. I walked towards him and we met with a hug. He smoothed down my wind-blown hair and took my hand. We started walking towards the sea. I kicked off my shoes, seeing he had already done so. I stepped into the cold water and shivered. Leaning into Leo, I sighed and closed my eyes.

"It's so beautiful here..." I whispered to Leo. He pulled me closer and said,

"Not as beautiful as you, Lauren." and then he kissed me. Kissed me. If I had not been kissing him I would have been jumping up and screaming with joy.

After a while, I pulled back.

"Leo-" I started to say, but was interrupted by him.

"Look, Lauren. We've known each other for, what, 10 years?! And I've always, always had feelings for you. I'm not waiting around any longer. I.. I love you." He grinned, his face lit orange-ish by the setting sun.

"Leo, I can't believe it. I love you too!" I said, and this time I kissed him.

Then he pushed me into the water.

"LEEOOOOOOO!! I'm gonna kill you!" I shouted, laughing. I struggled to get up and walked to shore. Leo laughed and apologized.

"Shit, I forgot my jacket by the beach house..." I frowned and shivered. Leo smiled playfully and took his coat off, wrapping it around my shoulders. I couldn't help but grin.

"Hey, I'm sorry. Forgive me?" he asked. Too late, I was pushing him into the water.

"Hah! You wish," I called out, laughing, and pulled him out, "Just kidding. Consider yourself officially forgiven." He laughed and stepped forward.

"Woah, woah, take it easy, you're wet," I said, stepping back. When he stepped forward again, I pushed him back from his chest and laughed.

"Stay away!!" He frowned for a second, then ran towards me and picked me up into his arms.

"I'm not going anywhere..." he smiled and kissed me, once again.

My life just changed.

*But what Lauren did not know was that her life had indeed changed, but not necessarily in a good way...*
