In a world where there are great mysteries, stories, and legends, this world is unique, because technology has advanced, but society and culture have not.
The year is 1934 CE, two powers control the continent of Europe, in the east the sun has risen on the Imperial Alliance of Eastern Europe, also known as the Empire, in the west a network of loosely allied democracies has formed the Atlantic Federation.
Both alliances depended on a very precious ore called Ragnite for their survival, Ragnite can be used as fuel, electricity, weaponry, medicine, etc (Ragnite in this world is the equivalent of petroleum in our world), in October 1934 the two Great powers signed a non-aggression pact.

The pact called the Federation-Empire pact, both sides announce cooperation to avert the growing shortage of Ragnite and strengthen the peaceful and friendly relationship between the Federation and the Empire.
The whole world is shocked and amazed by the two great powers cooperating despite being ideologically rivals, however, it is welcome to the international community and hopes that peace in Europe has finally been achieved, but this is just a cover for the empire, for it has its eye on a new world.

Schwartzgrad, the capital of the Imperial Alliance of Eastern Europe.
Located near an estuary where the river meets the ocean. A medieval architecture and society, but don't be fooled by the appearance, there is technology equivalent to the 30's, cars, highways, fashion, etc. In the center of the city is the Imperial Palace, the largest building in the empire and home to the imperial family.

Today in this great palace, a great and important meeting is taking place, it is about the two portals to another world known as the Gates of the Valkyries, were discovered by archaeologists, in the imperial province of the extreme west, little more than 30 kilometers from the border of the Principality of Gallian, in October 1934 and early in January 1935, the gates somehow activated but could only accommodate two to three people, they sent out some scouts and made it back safely.
