Y/ns POV
I looked at the blood on my hands then the blood seeping from Ranmarus stomach.
"I-I..." I muttered.
"Hey... Y/n I don't... Think I'm going to make it." Ranmaru spoke softly to prolong his death.
"B-but you have to!" I tried to take bandages from his arms to cover the wound. I could barely see what I was doing Through the thick tears spilling.
"Y/n d-do something for me."
"What?!"
"Say goodbye... to me." He requested.
"No this is not goodbye!" I was crying harder by the second.
"Please, this really is." He begged. I realized he was right, the blood wasn't stopping. He was really dieing.
"I love you." I stopped. I looked him straight in the eye knowing if I look at his stomach the tears will continue to grow stronger.
"Goodbye, Ranmaru. I hope to see you in the afterlife."
"Goodbye, y/n." He exhaled his final breath. His face went blank, lifeless. I cried and cried. Endless tears. I hugged his limp body. My eyes stung. After there were no more tears to fall I stood up. I stared at him, it was painful. I took of my jacket and layed it on top of him.
"Goodbye, I really did love you." I continued on knowing I will never forget him.
