Y/ns pov

It was the beginning of school this year and I was so excited to see one certain person. I saw Sara walking to school.
"Sara! Sara!" I ran up to her and knocked her over with a hug.
She started laughing.
"Y/n, you didn't need to tackle me!" I unwrapped my arms around her and stood up.
I joined her laughing.
"Sorry, got excited!" I extended my hand for her to use to lift herself up.
"Why you saw me last week?" Right we did hang out last week.
"Yeah, that's a whole week! Of course I would miss my best friend." I hugged her again she hugged back this time.
"Aww y/n! Anyway we should get to school." She left the hug and began walking. I soon followed striking up basic conversation.

It was now lunch time and me and Sara were sitting with Joe, Ryoko and Anzu.
"Hey, guys I'll be right back." Sara said as she left toward the lockers in the hallway.
"Heyyy, y/n," Anzu started.
"Yes?"
"Did you hang out with anyone over the summer?" She asked looking oddly interested, which was a sign she already knew the answer.
"Sara, a couple of times."
"Ooo, like dates?" Joe joined this odd conversation. I knew where this was going.
"Dude, I wish!" I told him.
"And she admits she likes Sara!" He acted like he didn't know already.
"You know y/n, you should try to ask her since she's bi." Ryoko commented.
"Yeah, yeah maybe someday." I told her.
"Come on y/n! You should do it sometime this week." Anzu practically wined.
"Damn such short notice." I said.
I was startled by someone sitting next to me which caused me to jump. It was Sara.
"Are you okay y/n?" She asked.
"Yeah sorry you startled me. I got to use the bathroom." I smiled at Sara then left the table.

Saras POV

Y/n left to go to the bathroom.
"Heyyy, Sara?" Anzu suddenly said.
"Yes, Anzu?" I looked her in the eye genuinely curious of what she wanted.
"So are you dating y/n?" She asked. I smiled at the thought.
"No, that's a nice thought though."
"So, you would date her?" Joe chirped in. Why on earth is this conversation happening?
"Yeah." Joe and Anzu looked at each other looking as though they were trying to suppress laughter.
"Why don't you ask her out, Sara?" Ryoko added in.
"Isn't she straight?" I asked.
"No, she's a lesbian." Ryoko replyed.
"Really? How didn't I know that?" I felt bad since she was a very close friend and I didn't even know that.
"Took a lot of work to dig that information up. Y/ns very secretive about that. Had to get kugies help to identify a lesbian." Joe said laughing at the last line.
"You should ask her out sometime this week!" Anzu shouted.
"Probably not that soon... Also you don't have time yell!" I told her.
I saw y/n sit back down next to me.
It was silent for a minute as everyone ate their lunch.
"Y/n remember the conversation we had?" Anzu said.
"Anzu, stop talking." Y/n told her.
"Fine fine."
"Sar-"
"Don't" I cut her off.
The bell rung and we went of to our separate classes.

I was in my last class when I realized something. They probably had the same conversation with y/n, which is why Anzu said that. Whether or not she said she liked me or not I don't know. I might as well take my chances.

I was walking down the side walk when I saw y/n. I walked behind her and she didn't notice. I put my hand on her shoulder and quickly said,
"BOO!" She turned around, squealed then jumped like three feet in the air.
"Sara!" She yelled.
"Sorry didn't realize it would scare you so bad." I apologized while laughing really hard.
"Yeah, yeah." She mumbled starting to smile lightly.
"Can I come over to your house? we can do homework together." I asked her.
"Yeah, of course!" She then grabbed my hand and began walking faster.

When we arrived to her house we went up to her room. We sat on her bed. She turned her head to me and began talking,
"So which classes have been hard, homework wise. You have mr. Lo right? Did you look at that homework? It's ver -" she kept talking. Usually I would be listening better but I was thinking about how I was going to make my move. She continued to ramble. I decided to just go for it. I pushed my lips on her. She was clearly shocked but she kissed back. It got rougher. For a split second her mouth was open so I stuck my tongue in her mouth exploring every crevice of her mouth. My hands were entangled in the hair on the back of her head as I pulled her closer to me. I pushed her back on the bed so I was on top of her. She wrapped her arms around my neck. I put my leg in between her thighs, rubbing it against her. It continued like that for a while but eventually I got of her and layed next to her.
"So, you're my girlfriend now, right?"
She asked me, smiling.
"Obviously!"
"Love, you!" She hugged me.
