<3. great memories to make
after the little memorial for (y/n)'s presumed death, the others sat in silence, pondering about what they should do next. koko who couldn't wait for the unbearable silence, speaks up, emotionlessly staring at the door. "are we gonna leave now or later?" and mikey was quick to come up with an answer, the reply dancing on the tip of his tongue. "i'm not leaving 'till I find the rest of my friends and their conditions".
the stern voice makes kisaki clench his jaw, teeth grinding while the tall boy beside him smirks with joy...he was gonna have so much fun.
kisaki couldn't believe it. right from the start he planned the whole escape, and it was going exactly his way, actually even better and now he was gonna must change his scheme to live, did mikey really care about his friends' lives over his that much?
though the new information wasn't too bad-it was great, manjiro himself basically handed his own puppet strings to kisaki to control and direct, and now the boy just has to know how to use it to his advantage.
a trump card for him to play.
a knock on the door pops the mournful undertone, the air now filled with fear and hesitance, glances shared between the people in the room as a question to be answered, though mikey wasted no time getting up to walk to the door, peering through the small thick-glassed window that was holed into the wood.
"u-uh mr. hayashi!?"
"come on, yes...let me in!" he wails, and mikey's hand is already on the doorknob to open while a huge grin on kisaki's face starts to grow.
"wait! how do we know if he's safe".
baji sure was dumb but he wasn't that dumb. okay, maybe he lacked a bit in math...and in reading, and maybe a lot more subjects, but he's definitely the most perspective guy out there, the one you could rely on to catch every minuscule detail. he swears his gut has a superpower, the twisting feeling of his entrails, telling him something was wrong which he usually followed by and got right. so, someone please believe him that there's something wrong with kisaki and hanma.
mikey's hand already almost twisted open the door but her lets the knob go, letting it go back to its original position. koko nods with baji, his sharp eyes narrowed towards the door, ignoring the babbles of plea that bang onto the door.
"b-but what if he was good, i-we shouldn't let an innocent guy die!" kisaki yells, teeth gritting with anger. to be truly honest he didn't give a crap about the teacher, he needed a sacrifice and there was a fifty-fifty chance that the teacher could be just that. he also knew that mikey was a sucker for a chance to play the hero, and there was no one he was gonna let someone die on his watch.
the said blonde sighs and wags his head, resuming his position to open the door. what kisaki said was true, anyways he can just keep him in a separate room (the closet) if he really was bitten. mikey opens the door and the older man stumbles in almost like he was drunk, his fists littered with purple bruises and his face well-received of raw cuts and gashes.
everyone instantly backs up, intently watching the man as he swings left and right, pants leaving his mouth while drool leaks from the cracks of his teeth, his temple bulged with anger. "why-why didn't you guys let me in earlier." he yells, screaming at mikey who stares at him, no emotion in his dead eyes.
"be fucking grateful that we let you in" draken gets up from his seat, striding towards his teacher, ready to throw him out of the window. "is that how you speak to your elders huh?" the man challenges back, ignoring the throbbing that stretched through his body.
