Double Double

A couple days pass, both Shelby and Quiana just relaxed in those days. Stepping out of the motel room once or twice for small things like food. Talia even visited a few times, But today, was going to be quite unique.

Shelby was alone in the living room reading a book while Quiana was out for a moment, Shelbys mind went back and forth to the imagery of the book and memories of her time in Inazuma. Eventually Quiana came back "Hey Shelby" she greeted, Shelby looked at Quiana "Oh, Hey Qui" Shelby said.

"So, Shelby. You wanna head out today since we just stayed here for a few days" Quiana asked, Shelby took a moment to think "Sure" she agreed and stood up. Both of them left and began walking, Shelby started getting curious "What did you have in mind in doing exactly" she asked. Quiana didn't answer and kept walking, she eventually lead her to the tea house.

The girls walked in and Shelby was greeted with the sight of Thoma and Itto talking to each other, she gave a shocked and confused expression "Hey guys. I got Shelby here" Quiana announced.

Thoma and Itto looked at the girl and both smiled "Oh, Hello again Shelby" Thoma greeted. Shelby looked at Quiana confused "What exactly is going on?" She said, "Well, I thought the four of us could hang as a group" Quiana explained. Shelby gave Quiana a deadly glare, to which Quiana was unfazed as she was used to her glares.

Shelby then suddenly softened her glare and crossed her arms "You should have warned me before you took me here" she said with a slight frown. Quiana gave an extremely confused look at her response "Wow, I was expecting you to get so angry you'd leave" Quiana said.

Shelbys eyes widened realizing she had a point "I uh- I just didn't see any point in arguing is all" she quickly answered, Quiana raised an eyebrow at her quick response. "Let's just get this over with" Shelby said through her teeth.

"Would you three like some tea?" Thoma asked, Shelby blinked "Uh, sure. That sounds nice" she said as she sat down. Itto then sat next to her "I'm good on the tea" he said, Thoma smiled and was about to walk into but then Quiana went up to him "Mind if I join you" she asked. Thoma lightly chuckled "Sure thing" then the two of them went to the other room leaving Shelby and Itto alone.

Shelby looked at Itto "Hi" she said, Itto smiled at her "Hi, how have you been doing?" He asked. Shelby seemed curious "What do you mean" she asked in return, Itto let out a small chuckle "Well, I was just checking in since the last time we met.......well you know" he explained. Shelbys eyes softened, she looked in front of her "Yeah, I'm actually feeling better since I let all that out. And uh, Quiana told me your message. I didn't get a chance to say this" she once again looked at Itto "But, thank you. For the message and for bringing me back when I fell asleep" she finished.

Itto softly smiled as he looked at her eyes, "Of course, You can always talk to me whenever you're feeling down" he offered. Shelbys face slightly turned pink at his words, "Shelby?" Thoma said snapping her back. She looked to see Thoma with her tea "Oh thanks" she takes the cup from him.

Shelby stared at her cup. She blew on it and took a long sip, she took a long sigh. Itto noticed that Shelby had tea on the corner of her lip, "Shelbs, you got a little something. Here I'll help" he reached over and wiped it off with his thumb. This action caused Shelby's face to turn lightly pink again, he moved his hand back and smiled at her.

Shelby looked at him in intrigue but then looked away to avoid eye contact "Th-Thanks. But you didn't have to do that" Itto slightly chuckled "You're welcome" , Quiana watched the moment happen and slightly smirked.

A certain amount time passed, they all talked among each other. But Shelby especially noticed Quiana being really talkative with Thoma, she raised her eyebrow at this. "I'll be right back, I'll go clean up before we leave" he said as he left the other room.
