Together Again

Shelby was rudely woken up by a loud booming sound, she looked to see Itto holding her and smiled. Then she looked at the sky to see that it was purple, she gently shook Itto to wake him up "Itto wake up!" He just quietly groaned and nuzzled closely to her "Just a few more minutes" he mumbled, she sighed.

Then there was a giant purple thunderbolt in the distance making Shelby jump and Itto wake up completely. He quickly sat up and saw the thunderbolt, out of instinct he pulled Shelby close and held her protectively.

The giant bolt disappeared in the distance but the sky was still purple, they sat there in confusion. "What in the world was that?" Itto said slightly shaking "I have no idea" Shelby replied.

Time passed, they continued to hold each other. Eventually the sky became blue again, Shelby let go of Itto and stood up "I'll go see what's going on, you stay here" she said, Itto seemed unsure of the idea Shelby gave him a reassuring smile, "I'll be back once I figure out what's happening" she said placing her hand on his cheek he smiled "Alright"

She walked into Inazuma city and saw that everyone seemed joyed. She saw Quiana walk up to her "Quiana, do you know what's going on?" Quiana nodded in response "The vision hunt decree is over" she announced, Shelbys eyes lit up at the news "Really?!" Quiana once again nodded. Shelby smiled and went to Itto to tell him the news. A few day, Itto and Shelbys dates were more in public, it was all so wonderful. Then one day Beidous ship arrived at the docks, and a fact hit Shelby like a brick.

Quiana and Shelby had to go back home to Liyue which meant they had to say goodbye to Itto, Thoma, and Talia. Shelby walked up to Itto "Hey there my one and oni" Itto said loudly and Shelby smiled "Hi Itto. So um, I need to say something to you" she said hesitantly "What do you gotta say love, I'm all ears!" This was going to be hard but Shelby had to do it "So, since the Vision hunt Decree is over now. I sorta have to..."

"You have to get back to your home in Liyue?" Itto finished the sentence for Shelby and she just nodded as a response. "I don't want to leave but I don't have any other choice" she said as she looked at the ground with sorrow "But we will see each other again, right?" Itto said. Shelby looks up at Itto for a long minute, she began to tear up and she tightly hugs Itto "Of course we will. I promise to see you again one day" She said as she lightly cried and Itto hugged back "Good, I wouldn't want to never see you again" Shelby looked up to Ittos eyes with a smile on her face.

"I love you my other half" Itto said softly, Shelby cupped Ittos cheeks "I love you too" and she leans in to kiss him. He was surprised at first but he kisses back, once Shelby ended the kiss she pressed her forehead against his with a dumb stupid grin on her face.

They all met at the dock where a boat awaits, Shelby and Itto hugged each other tightly "You better stay out of trouble, got it?" Shelby teased, Itto chuckled "No promises" he replied, Talia also lightly chuckled "Don't worry. I'll keep an eye on him" she said, Shelby rolled her eyes at their remarks. She then heard Itto sniff, she was surprised to see Itto crying "Itto? What's wrong?" She asked as she wiped some of the tears with her thumb "I'm just really gonna miss you so much" he said as he tightened the hug.

Shelby couldn't help but cry too. The thought of being far away from each other to the point where they can't see each other or even communicate with each other hurt the both of them "I'll miss you too" they pressed their foreheads against each other "Can you do one more thing before you leave?" Itto asked, Shelby nodded in response "Can you kiss me? One last one" He asked, the request caused Shelby to cry even more "Of course" she said. The 2 then planted a kiss as they both cried.

Thoma, Quiana, and Talia all watched the two have their moment. "I will miss you too, Quiana. I really enjoyed our time together" Thoma said as he placed his hand on Quiana's cheek which was now red. "Uh, Y-Yeah. Me too" Quiana stuttered, Thoma smiled "I hope we see each other again another day" then he leaned in to give Quiana a small forehead kiss.
