The Special Day

Many years later

Shelby was in a dressing room with Quiana behind her curling her hair "I told you not to crawl to me, and yet you did" she snarked, Shelby chuckled lightly, "You were the first person I thought of to be my maid of honor" Shelby explained, Quiana sighed "Fair enough" she said as she finished a curl. Talia was also in the room tearing up a bit "I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE ITS ACTUALLY HAPPENING!!!" Talia sobbed, Shelby chuckled "I can't believe it either" Shelby said sounding like she was about to cry.

"Calm down, save the tears for the ceremony" Quiana said, Shelby then quickly fanned her face "Sorry, I'm just getting so emotional about all of this" she said attempting to hold it together.

Shenhe stood next to Shelby who seemed to also begin to tear up "I'm so happy for you Shelby" she spoke lightly hugging Shelby.

There was a knock on the door "There's an emergency here!" The voice behind the door being Thoma said, Quiana sighed "Probably has something to do with the cake. Yoimiya you get Shelby ready, I'll take care of this emergency" she said, Yoimiya nodded and worked her magic.

Quiana stepped out and came face to face with Thoma, "So, what's the problem?" She asked "It's Itto, he's getting..." Thoma leaned in closer and whispered "Cold feet"

Quiana's eyes widened "Alright take me to him, we need to fix this" she said, then the two of them sprinted over to Itto. Quiana aggressively banged on his door "ITTO OPEN THE DOOR AND YOU BETTER BE READY OR ELSE IM GONNA KICK THIS DOOR OPEN YOU BITCH!" she shouted, but no answer came.

"THATS IT!!!" Quiana then aggressively kicked opened the door. She was greeted with the sight of the groom startled, he seemed mostly ready with his hair pulled back into a ponytail and wearing his white suit and purple vest, black tie and the coat hanging on he chair he's sitting on.

"Woah! Knock first before you randomly barge in!" Itto shouted, Quiana gave a dumbfounded face "I DID knock!" Quiana yelled, Itto gave a face of defeat "Oh.... Guess I didn't hear" he nervously laughed.

Quiana then gave a terrifying look, making Itto scared "You are not getting cold feet today buddy!" Quiana demanded "But what if she changes her mind?! I can't do this!!" Itto cried worriedly.

Thoma walked up next to Quiana "Itto I-" Quiana hushed him by pressing her finger over his lips "Thoma, let me take care of this" Quiana said then Thoma took a step back.

Quiana then grabbed Itto by the collar and pulled him face to face with a deadly glare "Listen here you little bitch! If you bailed out on this Shelby will be devastated. Because from day 1 I knew you two were meant for each other, and I have never seen a couple more in love than you and Shelby.......Unless I was wrong and you don't love her" Quiana said

Itto released himself from Quiana's grasp and gave a face of full offense "Excuse me?! Of course I love her! I'll never meet anyone else like her, and you think I proposed to her if I DIDNT love her?! Listen to me Quiana, I love Shelby more than anything. You hear me, MORE THAN ANYTHING!!!" Itto shouted.

"What are you waiting for then?" Quiana asked. Itto then gave a face of defeat "Good point" he then dramatically took his white coat and slipped it on "Look out honey, your new hubby is on his way!! Yes! I can do this!" He yelled confidently.

Once he was standing on the right side of the alter, with Thoma and the Arataki gang standing next to him, he became nervous once again "I can't do this" he mumbled. On the left side, Quiana, Shenhe, Yoimiya, and Talia stood. Quiana gave a face that was 110% done "You better not chicken out of this" she said, "Okay okay I won't" Itto said. He tensed up and he attempts to calm himself down.

"You aren't getting cold feet, are you?" Yae Miko, the one doing the ceremony, said teasingly. Itto jumped at her question "What, pff no of course not! I'm Arataki 'Ain't scared of nothing' Itto hehe" he blurted out.

"Is it about to start?" Itto continued, all the bridesmaids sighed in unison "Calm down, we still have 5 minutes till it starts" Yoimiya said getting a little tired of his anxiety "It can't hurt to start early, right?" Itto said, Quiana walked over to him and bonked him hard on the head "Pull yourself together!" She said sternly.

Yae Miko slightly giggled at the show in front of her "Now now Quiana, let's not make him more anxious than he already is" Yae said with her usual smile. Quiana put her hands up in the air and she moved back to her spot, Itto took a moment to take a few deep breath's  "You got this boss" Mamoru said. It made Itto better, "Thanks" he whispered.

A melody began to play "You boys better quiet down now. It's about to begin" Yae Miko quietly announced and Itto tensed up. First, walked out Qiqi in a puffy pink dress with a basket filled with flower petals, she walked down the ally tossing the flower petals. When she was finished Qiqi walked over and stood next to Quiana.

Itto smiled at the little one then looked back at the ally, finally there stood Shelby. In her long snowy blue wedding dress, hair curled, holding a bouquet of Glaze lilies. Ittos eyes soften at the sight, he couldn't help but think 'She's so beautiful, I could cry' Yae Miko smirked noticing his now emotional state.

Shelby slowly walked closer to the alter, once Shelby got to the alter she stood next to Itto, they held each other's hand and stared deeply into each other's eyes. Now it was time for the ceremony.

Yae Miko spoke "People of Tevat, We are all here today to celebrate the union of this wonderful couple here. Their love has shown to be so powerful that it made her ice heart melt. And so, here they are making their love conclusive and eternal, now with the Shouguns blessing may I have the rings?" Chongyun walked up with a pillow that held two rings.

The bride and groom took the ring and slipped them to each other's ring fingers. "Arataki Itto, do you take this woman to be your beloved wife, to have and to hold, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish where not even death shall you part?"

"I do"

"Shelby, do you take this oni as your beloved husband, to have and to hold, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish where not even death shall you part?"

"I do"

"Then by the power infested in me and the archons, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now k-"

Yae Miko was interrupted by the couple immediately going in for the kiss with tears falling down their eyes, the whole crowd cheered, including the grooms men and bridesmaids.

Once they ended the kiss they stared at each other's eyes "Hello Arataki Shelby" Itto said. Shelby smiled at his words "Hello Arataki 'married to Shelby' Itto" Shelby said, Itto giggled "You said the name before I could". Quiana watched the two with tears in her eyes "Way to go Shelby" she whispered.

Skip to later, the newly weds are seen on the dancing slowly together to a song that gives them memories to their first dance. Quiana is seen sitting next to Thoma holding his hand and both of them watching with a smile on their faces, Talia is seen with small tears in her eyes laying her head on Scaramouches shoulder and his arm arm around her.

When they finished the dance people cheered and joined in to also dance, Itto talked to people while Shelby sat down at her table feeling slightly tired, she watched everyone with a smile on her face. Yae Miko walked up and sat next to Shelby "I suppose you're enjoying yourself?" She asked.

Shelby noticed her and slightly chuckled "Yeah, I am" she replied. Yae Miko smiled at her answer "Well, that's good. I'm glad that everything went according to plan" she said, Shelby looked at her with a curious expression "Plan?" She asked slightly tilting her head. Yae nodded "I might have foreseen this happening the day we first met" Yae explained.

Shelby smiled at that "Well, I'm glad all of this happened. It's the happiest I've ever felt in my life" she explained, Yae Miko chuckled "I'm glad about that, and a warning don't go complaining to me or  Quiana about the little ones later in your life" she said as she stood up and walked away. Shelby giggled but then realization hit her "Wait, what?!" Before she could think about it she was tackled into a hug by her new husband.

"Hey! Don't think I forgot about you" Itto cheered nuzzling against her "Hehe, I know you wouldn't do that" Shelby slightly giggled. They looked at each other in the eyes "Love me always and forever?" Itto asked. Shelby hugged him tightly "For all eternity" She whispered, they gave each other kiss.
