A Week. Eraserdust

A Normal Life

Eri woke up with a jump. She looked around her room, finally breathing when she recognized where she was. No obnoxious toys or colors hid the true horror she was living in. Her door was opened, so she can leave. She jumped off the bed and slowly moved to the living room.

Reaching the room her dad's stayed in. Mochi opened his eyes when he saw her. She patted his head until he fell asleep again and climbed up. Seeing Tomu and Sho hugging each other while sleeping. They seem really comfy... I shouldn't bother them.

But, she remembered what Shota and Tomura had told her.

"If you ever have a nightmare, tell me."

"You're never a bother and you're never in trouble."

She took a deep breath and started shaking Tomuras shoulder.

"Tomu, hey. Tomu..."

He rubbed his eye with a frown, opening his eye to see her.

"Princess..? What's wrong?"

"I, had a nightmare..."

"Really? Come here, lets wake Sho up."

Tomura placed her in the middle. Squeezing Sho's nose until he frowned and slapped his hand away.

"What? Eri? What's wrong?"

"... Nightmare."

He patted her head.

"Alright, you can sleep with us."

Tomura and Eri got comfy while Shota tucked them in. Unlike them, Eri kept her eyes open. She wasn't really sleepy. She also didn't want to risk getting another nightmare.

"Princess, is it okay for us to hug you?"

"Hmm?"

Tomura smiled at her.

"It's cold, I'm practically freezing. Right, Sho?"

"Yep."

"Care to help us warm up?"

Eri thought about it for a moment. Nodding and staying still while they snuggled to her. It was really warm, it felt nice. She doesn't like the cold. So each minute, her eyes shut more. Until she felled asleep. No nightmares plagued her.

"Meow."

Eri rubbed her eyes and looked at Yuki. Realizing Tomu was gone. Breakfast! She crawled out of Sho's arms and ran to the kitchen. Seeing Tomu on the kitchen.

"Did you make breakfast?"

He looked down to her with a smile.

"No, I'm making Sho coffee."

He kneeled down to see her better.

"I would never start breakfast without you. Now, what do you want?"

"Pancakes!"

"Lots of fruit?"

"Yeah! And syrup!"

"And syrup, got it."

He got up and poured the coffee to a mug.

"Princess, can you wake Papa up?"

She nodded and ran back to the room. Crawling onto the bed where she shaked Sho awake.

"Five more minutes..."

"Coffee's ready!"

He shot up, picked her up and speed walked to the kitchen.

"Morning sleeping beauty."

He placed Eri down and kissed Tomura.

"Morning grinch."
