CHAPTER 7

Author's POV :

After getting fresh Sumedh went downstairs for dinner . He spotted Mallika and her father sitting more like waiting for him .

“Ohh..dear you came . Come sit and have a dinner .” Mallika's father politely said to him . “Sure uncle..”

Then they started their dinner with a complete silence , which was later broke by Mallika's father .

“Miku..,from tomorrow you will go to university with Sumedh . Hope you don't have any objection. ” Her father stated making her halt. She didn't wanted to create a drama with her father right now and that too not infront of that stranger (whom she assume to be). So, she just nodded her head making both the males sitting infront smile .

After the dinner she stood up and was going to her bedroom.

“Am going now...good night dad ....!” she said to her father . “Goodnight dear !” Her father replied . “Goodnight Miku....have sweet dreams...” Sumedh said which was obviously ignored by her . Then she went to her room .

Next morning :

Mallika got ready for her University and went downstairs for breakfast . There she spotted her father making breakfast with........SUMEDH ?..

“Morning dad..” She wished her father . “ Morning dear...” Both Sumedh and her father said in union . She just replied him while humming .

“Actually dad , I won't be taking a car today with me as Siddharth is coming to pick me up . ” She stated . “Ohh.... Siddharth is coming ? ” Sumedh questioned .

‘Why..?? Is he a deaf that he didn't heard me or he has a lack of brain to process what I said ?’ she thought as she can't say that infront of her dad .

“You know him ?? ” Mallika's father asked him. “Yeah...I met him yesterday at University only and we even became good friends. ” “ Nice to hear that Sumedh and you know he is Mallika's bestfriend since her childhood. ”
He just hummed in reply .

Suddenly a car honk was heard . Mallika took her bag and left with Sumedh following her from behind after bidding her father bye.

“Hey Miku...how are y....” Siddharth said as soon as he saw Mallika but halted when he saw Sumedh behind her .

Sumedh waved at him like a five years old child . When Mallika saw Siddharth looking behind her she turned back . When Sumedh sensed her turning he quickly put his hand down and acted like he didn't know anything .

Then Mallika sat in the passenger seat and Sumedh at the back seat .

“Hey bro..” Siddharth exclaimed . “ Hii Sid ” . “BTW what are you doing here..I mean at Miku’s house ? ” he asked with a confused face . “He will now live with us as his and my father's are good friends . ” Mallika said before he can say anything and annoyance was clearly visible in her tone .

“ Really ?? That's nic....” Siddharth stopped in mid way when he saw Mallika giving him death glare . “ It's okay...it's okay”.

After an awkward ride they reached the university . Mallika got off the car and left for her classes .

Meanwhile Sumedh and Siddharth looked at her childish behaviour and sighed . “She is cute ” Siddharth said . ‘Indeed she is....’ .Sumedh thought and smiled before going towards his class.
