CHAPTER 14

At morning
5:00 a.m

Author's POV :

Mallika woke up by the noise of her alarm. She got up from the bed and thought looking on sumedh if he is awake or not.

She slowly opened the door of his room and looked inside to found him sleeping on the bed with his phone vibrating mainly because of the alarm.

She opened the curtains and let the sunrays fall on his face. Still he was sleeping peacefully despite the rays. Then Mallika went towards him and started shaking him.

Mallika - Sumedh..!! Get up. You need to get ready to be on time. Otherwise we all will be late just because of you. And yes let me remind you, I am woman of my words, so I won't hesitate to leave you here by yourself.

Sumedh - Why are you rapping in this early morning? *yawns* Let me just sleep for 5 more minutes.

He said shifting to the other side of the bed.

Mallika - I won't come again to wake you up after 5 minutes. So you better get up.

Sumedh - You need not worry about me. I don't much time in getting ready *yawns* unlike you.

Mallika - Okay then. I'm going. Then later don't blame it on me. *Sumedh hummed* Why am I even waiting my time on you ?

Then Mallika went to her room to get ready.

5:45 a.m

Mallika came out of the washroom wearing her casuals while drying her hairs with the towel.

After keeping the towel at its place, she grabbed her phone and messaged others if they are ready or not. And she immediately got the response in her favour.

Then she again went to Sumedh’s room to check on him.

She knocked on his door but didn't got any response. Then she twisted the knob. She looked at him with a frowned face.

Sumedh was sitting on the bed with a blanket over his body. His eyes were half open.

Mallika - What happened ?

Sumedh - I don't want to go.

Mallika - Why so ?

Sumedh - Because I want to sleep.

Mallika sighed.

Mallika - Ok then. I'll tell dad to cancel one ticket.

Mallika said taking out her phone.

Sumedh - What? Really ? I didn't expected this from you. Don't call uncle, I'm up.

Mallika -  I'm not calling anyone. I knew you were acting. You better be ready in 5 minutes.

Sumedh - Are you ready ?

Mallika nodded.

Sumedh - Wait. Don't tell me you will go there wearing these short clothes.

Mallika - Why are you so nosy ? Just get ready.

Then Sumedh simply got up from his bed with a pout.

Mallika - And yeah I am just in my casuals right now. I'm wearing something else.

Mallika said lastly going out of his room.

Sumedh - wHy ArE yOu So nOsY...?

He said mimicking Mallika and making funny faces.
