Beomgyu was in the teachers' room at school right now because of Chaeyoung's insistence.
"Chaeyoung, let me go now."
"Why are you arranging everything according to Soobin, Beomgyu? I know you love him, he hurt you a lot, but that doesn't mean you should run away from him. He's not supposed to shape your life."
When he put her hand on Beomgyu's hand and squeezed it reassuringly, Beomgyu smiled slightly.
"Chaeyoung, I'm not that strong. Seeing him doesn't excite me like it used to, it just hurts me now. That's why it feels easier to run away from him than to meet him."
Chaeyeong smiled bitterly and nodded her head.
"You know better, Beom, but think about it anyway."
When Beomgyu sighed and looked out the window, he saw that the children were slowly crowding into the schoolyard.
"Why didn't you tell me the bell had rung? Soobin's coming here, I'll go now, Chae."
When he stood up to leave, Chaeyoung grabbed Beomgyu's arm and prevented him from moving forward.
"I think you should have a talk, calmly, solve all your problems."
Beomgyu looked at Chaeyoung and the hand that was on his arm.
"How many times have we talked, Chaeyoung, I think we've talked enough. Now excuse me, I have to go."
He slowly freed his arm from Chaeyoung's grip and turned his steps towards the door of the room. Just when he opened the door, he was frozen in place with Soobin, whom he saw in front of him for a short time. Swallowing, he turned his gaze to the ground and walked out the door, trying not to touch Soobin.
When Beomgyu returned home from his shift at the cafe, he saw an image that he had never expected. Taehyun and Yeonjun, he didn't know when they arrived, were fighting with Soobin. He ran over to them and held onto Taehyun's arm.
"What's happening here? When did you arrive, why didn't you tell me?"
As Soobin and Yeonjun looked at each other with hatred, Taehyun turned towards Beomgyu.
"I don't know exactly what happened either, when we came to your house to take a look at you, Soobin was in front of your house. Then they started fighting in a way I didn't understand. We didn't tell you to surprise you either."
When Taehyun stroked Beomgyu's hair, Beomgyu sighed and hugged him, and Soobin and Yeonjun's gaze turned to the two who were hugging right now.
"Beom, can we talk for a few minutes? Please."
When he heard Soobin's soft voice, Beomgyu spoke without taking his head off Taehyun's neck.
"We can't talk."
Yeonjun giggled over this and hugged Beomgyu.
"I miss you so much, Beoms."
"I have missed you very much, too..."
Still able to feel Soobin's gaze on him, Beomgyu left Taehyun and Yeonjun's arms and took a look at Soobin.
"Hyung, there's nothing left to talk about, I honestly don't want to see you either. There's nothing you can do but grieve, and I don't want to grieve anymore."
When Soobin tilted his head towards the ground, Taehyun grabbed Yeonjun's arm and dragged him towards his house.
"Beomgyu, I know I keep saying this, but you are really precious to me."
Beomgyu bit his lower lip as he felt that he was getting more and more angry.
"I know, I'm a brother to you, blah blah blah. You know what, Soobin? Think of it as if your brother is dead."
