After their tasks were finished and everything was well organized, the head  midwife smiled and bowed at the crown princess whom was still laying on her silk mattress. Since she had just given birth, she would need to be put into bed rest for at least 2 weeks before she can start to go back to her daily routines and duties.

'Once again, congratulations binggung mama, we are all very honored and delighted to be given such privilege to help you deliver the new wonseon (grand heir). This is a blessing to Joseon and the royal family hence we will now take our leave and wish binggung mama a safe recovery.'

Nodding her head and smiling at the maids, CheongHa spoke in her soft and gentle voice.

'And I also thank all of you for helping me go through my first child birth... You've all done very well, once I recover my health fully. I will visit all of you again and properly thank you.'

As all the servants take their final bows to the crown princess, CheongHa was once again left alone with her baby in her chamber.

Meanwhile, outside the crown princess's chamber. The crown prince once again thanked the nurses and maids for helping his wife deliver his son.

Turning to his mother, Kang grins and nods. A single smile from his mother urged him to finally enter and meet his family.

'I will go see binggung and my son now eomamama...'

Nodding and gently patting the crown prince's cheek, the queen smiles and lets her son go.

Kang could swear his never had such a fast heartbeat before. His heart was fluttering at the thought of seeing his wife and newborn son.

Entering the chamber, his breathe hitched and his lips trembled as he crosses eyes with his young wife.

Kang smiles at CheongHa as he slowly kneels down beside her and gazes at the little bundle in her arms.

As the young family enjoyed the rare silence and privacy given to them at that moment, Kang didn't even hold back the tears that were already pricking his eyes.

Despite her obvious exhaustion, CheongHa grins and leans down to peck the infant in her arms.

'Jeoha must have waited so long outside.... Would you like to meet our son?'

Kang couldn't have been more excited, nodding as he shed tears. The dashing crown prince reaches his hands out carefully as he tried his best to stay calm to be able to pick up the little baby.

'Be sure to rest his head on your arm and scoop his body on the other...'

After a bit of guiding from the crown princess, Yi Kang held his firstborn son in his arms.

And in no more than 3 seconds, the crown prince of Joseon melted and was basically bewitched as his baby opened his eyes and gazed up at his father with his gleaming hazel colored eyes.

Smiling down at his son, the crown prince grinned and spoke in a gentle and hushed voice.

CheongHa chuckles as she admires her husband and their son with pure happiness and glee.
