Chapter 2 ~ Ada

Y/N got ready for her case in the west of Raccoon city dealing with some murder cases hoping they could get to the killer. She was pumped up with coffee from the department and prepared to do anything.

In the police car I was, I really don't like driving so I let my partner do it. It's not that I can't drive, it's more like I hate driving in cities, especially a huge one like this, it feels way too off to be driving in such vibrant city.

"Did we get any new information about this mafia gang?" my partner asked. I gave him a nod, "Apparently it's a very high standard gang.

Apparently they let their spys kill the random ones who live on the streets and they kill the high ranked people.. They killed a few of our men from it." I replied, it wasn't good whatsoever to do such things as explore the case, but it was to keep the city safe.  "Um Y/N?" he said. "Yeah?" I muttered out

"Do you ever have the feeling of being watched in the office?" he whispered. It reminded me of the note that was also on my desk. "Sort of.." I mumbled out. "Oh.. uhm okay.. Just making sure it wasn't just me," he replied, parking the car in a nearby free parking lane.We got out and our area was just near the toy store and park. "I'll go this way.." My partner said, pointing to the left. I gave him a thumbs up and went to the right, near the toy store.

I hated the idea of splitting up, but I guess it was alright. I mean we'll see each other after this and will get back to RPD after this in no time!

A brisk wind stopped me from listening to my thoughts and made me flinch. It wasn't the air because it was cold. It was more like air because someone is nearby. I took out my gun from its holster and prepared for anything. She swore on her life she wouldn't die of something like this.

"You have a lot of strength coming here, Y/N.." a voice mutter out. I turn my head to see a lady in a sleeveless qipao (sorry if I got it wrong), black gloves, and loose fur. "Do I know you?" I implored. 

"Put the gun down, you look like you're gonna hurt someone.." she said, calmly and smooth. Way too smooth. I put my gun back in it's holster. 

"I ask for a name you know, I work for the RPD.. I request a name," I replied, "I put my gun away, so I ask for your name"

"Names Ada, It's good to see you.. I didn't think anyone would show up" She muttered out, again with the smoothness in her voice. "What do you mean by that, Miss?" I responded. My fear couldn't get to me as quick as it should, but it did. "How do you know my name... I never get on the daily papers when a case is complete, so I don't know how you know my name" I told her, "Long story, couldn't bother to answer. Now I have something you might want to know" She replied, smirking at me.

I rolled my eyes, I didn't know if I was angry or just frustrated. "What is it, I haven't got all day" I muttered out. Ada took out a photo of herself and some of the corpses that are found around raccoon city. "I'm a photographer.. For the daily newspaper and I thought these may come to use"  She said. I scoffed, but looked at the photos carefully, especially the one that has Adas face on it.

"Why do I need a photo of you?" I asked. I was actually quite confused. "I don't know, maybe to remember my pretty face, when needed.But I'll see you around, Y/N" she said, turning around and began to walk away in a black pair of heels. "Ada wait!" I shouted, but my call landed on deaf ears.

"Dammit" I mumbled under my breath, why is she so pretty. No Y/N you can't fall in love with someone you just met, and probably she doesn't like you back!

Both me and my partner got back in the car, I had some evidence and he brought back some interesting files he found when looking around the park.

I just wanna figure out what that lady wanted from me
