Oomi? (Octoling Soldier Rider x Goggles)

Rider heard the blueberry muffin call over to him and I got up from the couch to walk over to said area.

The inkling says "You sleep here temporarily, me sleep floor, no worry sheet clean new" Riders looks at him a bit grumpy feeling bad at taking this inklings. "Why don't we just share a bed" Rider had suggested, it's not so bad.

Blueberry muffin did not want to annoy the Octo especially after taking the great zapfish back

Rider looked at the inkling and noticed how his ears drooped, blueberry muffin was lost in a inkpool of thoughts

He nods sheepishly, we both noticed that it was getting pretty late so we both got into some comfy clothes and blueberry muffin handed some clothes to wear and with that he both went to bed

This bed was very comfy, it was soft and had good paddening, a nudged push me a bit as Blueberry muffin had layed next time him and he buried his face in the covers facing away from me and he slept immediately after he got comfortable talk about an easy sleeper.

Rider had fallen asleep quicker than usual though this bed as he had said is comfortable

I was in a meadow next to a city of great height I was greeted by a cheerful voice
I was hugged
I gained happiness
I was me
I had cool clothes
I have cool friends who surround me
And finally I had a love

It soon is morning the dream Rider had last night was quite strange to say the least things were noticeable but also blurry I decided not to question it that much though

Dreams are weird after all he smiled to himself, Rider remembering he slept in the same bed as Blueberry muffin who was in squid form attached to his pillow snoring quiet laying against a pillow comfortably asleep Rider looked at the alarm and seeing that it said 9:00 am he huffed peacefully and looked over to a chair in the room and decided to wait there for the inkling to wake up

Blueberry muffin eyes shifted his view being at the ceiling and he turned back into humanoid form making a silent yawn as he sat looking around and saw the Octoling he let stay with him, he greeted the other with a bright and brisk smile showing off his fangs with gleam

Getting up he said tiredly "morning" and went into the kitchen opening a fridge he then looked for some eggs and some fish with some rice "me will try make breakfast for you" the blue boy opened up a cabinet to get some pans for making the food as he smiles I shit down at a counter and watch his movements he takes the eggs and cracks them putting them on the pan and he cooks the eggs over medium and puts some seasoning to add some more flavor he lowers the heat and grabs some plates to.put the eggs on he then makes the fish and adds a seasoning on the food as he finishes up the meal he gives me a wink which makes me a bit awkward

He places the food Infront of me feeling a bit hesitant because I barely knew this dude, biting the fish my tentacles curl in lighten and I start munching at the food. Blueberry muffin simply smiles at my excitement and he munches on his food as well

The sun shone through the window as we finished our meal and we heard a knock on the door. Walking over to the door Blueberry muffin open it and grabs a package from a nautilus delivery man he shuts the door and walks over to the counter settling the box grinning he tried to get the item to open the box didn't budge

I walk over briskly and gently push him aside I take my sharp fingers and swiftly slice the box decimating the object with my claw the box is now open. Suddenly Blueberry takes my hands "So cool!" He smiled and I wondered why he was surprised, I then notice that inklings don't have claws

He then takes a book out of inkling language and says "this for you learn my language" he places the book into my hands and I go over to the table and start to read and I gladly take the book out of his hand. Blueberry muffin walks off to watch some tv and I got some basic inklish and went to the blueberry muffin "What is your name" He grinned with a very radiant shine "Oh it's Goggles you learned my language quite fast" he leans closer to me "What's your name?"

"Rider" "That's such a cool name" I flush a bit "Oh um thank you?"

"Though I only learned some" "None the less you're doing great" he gets up to hug me "Umm what is this" "this? Oh it's what we call a hug it's a friendly jester for a friend"

"I like this hug" Goggles then let's go of me he sat back down and patted the spot next to him "Care to join to watch some shows"

We sat down we watched shows about his culture turf wars splatfests, and others

After that Goggles offered me to meet some of his friends I didn't know what to think though because I'm octoling

"It'll be alright we can try and hide your features until you're ready!" You looked over to him

How's he gonna do that "I have this friend named Aloha! He owns tons of Makeup so we can use some to make your mask look more inkling like!" He gleams his fangs at me with a shiny appearance "You will have to hide somewhere in my apartment though, or I could just buy some" I furrowed my ears at that response, Didn't want this dude to spend anymore money on me "It's alright if he comes over" "if you're so sure..." Thinking a zapfish lights up in the blueberries head "I have a big jacket I could hide you in, only if you're comfortable of course" I blush at the though but might as while give it a chance "Sure" "Alright I will call Aloha now while you get into my jacket for hiding"

Goggles tapped on his phone and called his friend Aloha "Hey Aloha I need to borrow some makeup could you come over so I can have some?" "Sure duuuuude! Coming right over!" Goggles sat down and starting up a conversation with me "I don't think you will have to worry about most others saying you're an Octoling though our history books said you guys were extinct" we then heard a knock on the door Goggles got up and opened the door to his room "Hey Aloha!" "What's sup dude, I got my most expensive makeup kit with me, didn't think you were into makeup" "Heheh yeah"

Rider starting to feel a bit flushed hugging Goggles in his Octo form

"Uh Goggles what is THAT" he pointed Rider had fell out of his jacket looking up he panicked and tried to hid behind me and clinged onto my shoulders hiding his face
