6: Hallucinations

..

Enna's pov.

Over the course of the next three days, it'd been Sasha to see things the most. She saw them when: she was out on walks, anywhere with a window to the woods, on jobs, anywhere she went.

It was driving her mad. The usual loud girl who's obsessed with makeup was begining to be torn apart by these sightings. It became so natural that when Corpse, Rachell and I were sat on the couch and she came in to let us know she'd seen something, we didn't even react.

"What did you see?" I ask, my hairs pricking up.

"I didn't see something this time. I'm shocked you guys didn't even hear. I heard a siren with my name being called!" The ginger girl shakes.

"I don't trust that it's mainly you seeing things and Enna is too." Ein walks into the room.

"What?" I turn around to look over the couch at him. He walks round and sits infront of me on the footrest.

"Look, I know you have bad mental health and it probably doesn't help that you're drinking and smoking all the time.  I think those in full force is making you hallucinate and now you've gotten it into Sasha's head too. It's been five days that we've been here for. Honestly--"

"What?! You're saying we saw the same thing and yet I'm hallucinating?!" I snap.

"It's possible though, Enna." Tyler mumbles, walking into the living room with Sykkuno at his side.

"How is she hallucinating! I saw the creature before she'd told me she saw something in the woods! As much as I don't like her, I don't think it's hallucinating!" Sasha shakes her head violently.

"See?" I gesture to the girl.

"Don't think I'm trying to protect you. I'm trying to get my point across that I could be in danger." Sasha glares at me. I roll my eyes and stare back at Ein.

"No I just think that she's scared you and you're seeing shit too. Now come on people, we have things to do and if you see anything else, I don't want to know about it." Ein stands up. I shake my head out of pure anger.

"Whatever." Sasha shrugs, "I'm just glad I'm here and that I got to make friends. Even if this shit is real which I think it is, atleast I'm here."

I watch her walk off to the front door and exit.

"Fuck sake." I sigh and stand up.

"Hey." Rachell grabs my arm as corpse goes down to the basement. I nod and turn to her.

"I don't think you are hallucinating. I believe you... I think. It's hard to but I'm trying because I don't see you lying to me." She explains, looking me in the eyes. I scan her face and nod.

"Thank you." I smile and then carry on to the kitchen.

I see not many plates on the side, a lot of us were so freaked we couldn't even eat.

I turn on the tap and put some soap on the sponge I'll be using to wash the few plates there are. I start on the first one, hearing the power in the house start up from the basement.

After scrubbing the last plate and wrinsing it, I place it on the drying board and wring out the sponge before drying my hands on a towel.

When I turn around, I see a tall figure behind me and jump.

"It's just me, calm down." Corpse says softly. I nod and take deep breaths.

"I just didn't expect it, you're so quietly footed." I laugh and place the towel I was drying my hands with on the side.

"I get told that a lot. Let's just hurry up and sort out the horses so we can relax." Corpse says and sets off out of the kitchen. I follow him and walk very close to him out of pure anxiety for whatever's happening.

As we walk down the gravel path to the stables, I feel my stomach aching and hug my arms round myself.

"It's fine. I'm here. If anything comes for you I'm here." He laughs half heartedly.

"Oh funny guy you are." I shake my head with a smile.

"I know right?" He nods.

When we reach the fence, I peer into a stall upon seeing it empty but the door closed.

"What's wrong?" Corpse places his hand on my shoulder.

"I don't know." I climb over the fence and trud towards the stable.  I lift the latch and unbolt the door, pulling it open. I nearly scream when I see a horse laid on the floor of it with a gouge in it's stomach all the way across so it's insides are spilling out.

"Fuck! What the fuck?!" Corpse walks over and shuts the door abruptly.

"I-I don't know!" I cover my mouth.

"L-lets just get the others out. Maybe it was... A skilled animal." He squints, at his last sentence. He knows that it isn't right and so do I but there's no way we'd confront it at the moment.

I open the other stables, letting the horses out one by one but they're hysterical, leaping about and neighing.

"Here, come out, I don't want you to get caught in a tantrum from them." Corpse grabs my arm and leads me to the gate, walking out with me. I shut the gate and lock it, watching the horses prance around in a frenzy.

"Let's just get inside." I shake my head and without even thinking, I interlock my fingers with Corpses for comfort.
