Chapter 5 -
"I knew it".
I felt my heart pound heavier. My eyes were bulging, and I didn't dare turn around yet. I steadied my breathing, and turned on my heel. I tried to hold it together when I saw who it was. I should have known with that familiar voice. Rosco Dean. His dark jeans and green v-neck shirt with a dress jacket over it. He gave me that half smirk and ran his hand through his beautiful brown hair.
"I knew it was you! It wasn't just a coincidence that you and the model looked the same. You actually are the model! I can't believe people can't see it! Your act wasn't good enough around me clearly." Rosco rambled on. I just stared, not daring to say a word.
I looked over my shoulder and saw my entire school pooling out of the doors. I couldn't chance a scandal. I clicked open my car and swung my door open. "Get in." I said to Rosco. His eyes went wide and I slide in.
"I've never been in a Porsche before!" He said as he slide into the passenger seat. I looked over again, and some noticed that I was getting in my car. Then pointed and shouted. I pushed the key into the car and started it. Putting it into drive, I slammed on the gas and sped outta there as fast as I could. I finally let out a breath. "Why are you hiding it?" He looked at me.
I entered the ramp onto the highway that'll lead me to my house in the forest. After getting to the speed limit, I glared at me. He was still staring. "Choose a song." I pointed to my Ipod that was plunged into my car.
"Hmm..." He grabbed it and searched through it. "I love this song!" He clicked on it, and blasted the stereo. I rolled the windows down and the song blasted on. Chad Valley's song, Shell Suite. I nodded as the beat pounded through my car. He had good taste. I smiled to myself, as I sped up past the speed limit. I saw my exit and took the ramp onto the deserted road along the tree's. My house was in the middle of the forest. With the forest on both sides of my car, I felt safe this way. No one had any idea where my house was or what it looked like.
My house was literally right ahead and around the corner. "Where are we going?" He looked at me.
"My house." I smiled.
"All the way out here?" He looked confused.
"Yup." I smiled even wider when I pulled into the driveway and pulled up my three door garage. His eyes went wide, and I turned off my car and got out. My house was modern, but kind of old fashioned. With three garage doors, right above them is the balcony . Beside them are the 3 sets of stairs leading up to my large wooden doors. With three story windows and flowers and tree's surrounding us.
"You live here?!" He was astounded as he got out and followed me up the stairs.
"When your mother is so famous and I'm famous too, you can't just live somewhere where someone can follow you and break in. No one knows of this place. You are the first person I've brought to my house ever." I gave him a weak smile as I opened the door.
You walk into my house and the first thing you see is my large livingroom with 4 couches and my dining room behind. To the side is the large, island kitchen with everything stainless steel. We have wood logs on each wall, because we love tree's and it makes it feel cozier. Everything was cleaned and mopped everyday by our cleaning staff. We cook our own meals, but things like mopping and sweeping and stuff like that, my mother insisted on having people do that for us. We have a large home after all.
"Come sit down, we have a lot to discuss." I invited Rosco into my living room to take a seat. He sat down carefully and I sat down across from him.
"Why do you hide it?" He asked straight faced.
"This is my first year allowed to go to Highschool, every other year I was home schooled. I promised my mother not to let anyone find out so I could go. If it get's blurted out I might never be able to go back again." I answered carefully. "Please don't tell anyone, my life would be over!" I begged him standing up.
"What do I get out of it?" He asked with a smirk.
"Anything, I'll do anything!" I walked over and sat beside him.
"Well, first I want help with Math. I might be smart, but I struggle a tad. Also, you have to come to all my football practices and games." He smiled.
"Done! I'll do it." I smiled confidentally.
"Also, every time you see me you have to kiss my cheek." My eyes went wide.
"W-why?" I stuttered, blushing slightly.
"Just cause." He smiled.
"Fine." I leanned over and kissed his cheek. I could see a slight blush come over him, but he qucikly shook it away. "You promise though right?" I held out my pinky to him. I was really scared of what could happen. I had to trust him.
"Don't make that face." He suddenly pulled me into his chest. I was stunned. "I promise." He wrapped his pinky around mine, and smiled.
"Thank you." I smiled back.
"You have a freaking fantastic house... just saying."
