Chapter 6-

Rosco and I had promised. I promised to help him with math, to come to all football arangements and... to kiss him every time I see him. He promised to keep my secret. To think that I've have him of all people find out my secret. Rosco is sweet, caring, and a totally nice guy. I'm glad that he found out instead of anyone else.

Class had just finished and today was football practice. Once I left the classroom, I plugged in my iPod and listened to Ed Sheeran's song Kiss Me. "So kiss me like you wanna be loved, like you wanna be loved, wanna be loved. This feels like I've fallen in love, fallen in love, fallen in love." Maybe I'm falling for Rosco. But I shouldn't...

I reached the bleachers and the boys were just putting on their equipment, and stuff. I took out my earphones, as Rosco jogged over to meet me. "Hey!" He smiled at me.

"Hey." I stood on my tippy toes and kissed his cheek. He blushed a bit but it went away fast.

"Oh! Rosco's got a girlfriend! Daaamn!" Some of the guys were calling over to us.

"She's not my girlfriend!" Rosco called back over. Ouch, that kind of stung. I know I'm not his girlfriend, but I know I have harboring feelings for him. Maybe he doesn't but... still.

"She's a nerd so don't tap that dude.." One of the taller guys called over. I laughed to myself and walked past Rosco to the very far bleachers.

"Bro, not cool." I heard Rosco call over when I walked by. I sat up on the top bleacher, and pulled out some math work that I needed to do. I plugged in my headphones again and blasted The Script's song Six Degrees of Seperation. The boys started off with a jog around the field, then some tackling work and stuff. I only see Rosco, everyone else is a blurr.

I wonder if he gets a lot of harrassment from his friends for hanging out with me. I saw several girls come over and stand infront of my bleacher. When Rosco waved, I waved back, but so did the other girls. I pulled out my headphones as the turned to face me.

"You think Rosco Dean was waving at you? You must be crazy nerd." I knew they were grade 12, not from my grade.

"We are friends." I replied straight faced. The girls walked up the bleachers to right infront of me. One grabbed my hair and pulled it back to face her giant face.

"You will never be friends, he wouldn't be friends with such a plain person. Get over your love for him, cause it's disgusting." And finally she slapped my cheek so hard it echoed through my body. I guess there is a first for everything. Never had my face been slapped. Even though I could sue her ass off, I won't. I was raised to be the better person.

"Okay." I smiled as they walked away. I noticed Rosco jog over to me but those girls got to him first.

"You aren't friends with that nerd right Rosco?! That'd be so disgusting. You are better than that." The grabbed onto his arms. He saw my face was red with a handprint clearly on it. He didn't say anything. I grabbed all myself and stood up and jumped off the back of the bleacher.

"Lacy!" Rosco ran infront of me. "Oh my god, are you okay? Does it hurt?" He looked at my cheek and gently touched it. I flinched as the pain shook me.

"I'm fine Rosco." I smiled at him, but I faked it. Why would anyone be fine after being treated like that?

"Why do you have to hide the fact that you're a model. You are so much prettier than them. You shouldn't take that from people! Just tell your secret!" He ranted on infront of me.

"No! I can handle myself. My secret doesn't need to help me get out of situations of bullying." I glared at him. Is he stupid or something? I'm not spilling my secret so people stop bullying me.

"I can't take what they say about you and me though." He said as I walked away from him.

"Do you want me to come to your game tonight or not?" I turned to face him slightly. My eyes burning, so close to tears.

"Please come." I looked at his face, he looked like he had hurt himself.

"Fine."
