° ∆ -------- ••• ------- ∆ °° ∆ -------- ••• ------- ∆ ° Emu waited a bit outside, kicking her feet back and fourth. She was wearing the usual overalls, pink jacket and yellow shirt, as always. She was also thinking of the usual, I hope the chocolate taiyaki are on sale! ...huh. Tsukasa's arm was really warm- "Oi. EMU." Just then, the loud voice snapped Emu right out of it, causing her to jump a little. "EH!? Oh! Tsukasa-kun! Ready to go?"
Tsukasa looked at Emu with a confused expression on his face. "Hah? I've been standing here for 5 minutes." Emu didn't even listen. She was focusing on Tsukasa's new outfit.
I guess Tsukasa-kun went shopping! It's a nice outfit.. maybe I should get some clothes too.. after Taiyaki..She grabbed Tsukasa's arm and dragged him outside of Phoenix Wonderland.
"ACK- EMU I CAN WALK!" She tugged onto his arm, dragging him even farther.
Rui chuckled then looked at Nene with a grin. "Huh? What?" Nene looked up at Rui, with Robo-Nene next to her. "I don't think Emu realizes.. she's on a date with Tsukasa." Nene giggled. "I don't think Tsukasa realizes either." "Oh he'll find out soon enough." Rui then held Nene's hand. "Hey, let's go to my house! I have so improvements for Robo-nene!" Nene nodded and they walked back to Rui's house, hand-in-hand together. ˏ⸉ˋ‿̩͙‿̩̩̽‿̩͙‿̩̥̩‿̩̩̽‿̩͙‿̩͙‿̩̩̽‿̩͙‿̩͙‿̩̩̽‿̩͙‿̩̥̩‿̩̩̽‿̩͙'⸊ˎ
Emu took Tsukasa to the mall, and immediately ran to the map to find the Taiyaki stand, since it was relocated.
"Eh? Tsukasa-kun, where's the Taiyaki stand?!" Emu pointed to everywhere on the map, hoping the word "Taiyaki" would just magically appear. She looked up, down, even the backside but still nothing. "Heh.. it got relocated to a different location." Tsukasa said, chuckling a bit. Emu dropped her head down, with a sad expression, which in 0.2 seconds later turned into a determined face. "THEN LETS WALK TO THE NEXT MALL!" "NO! EMU, LETS JUST FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO EAT!"
Instead of Emu tugging on Tsukasa, it was the other way around. Tsukasa grabbed Emu's hand and dragged her farther into the mall.
When will she learn to improvise.. she's so stupid.. but I can't get mad at her. She's always trying to keep me smiling.. and she has a really nice singing voice.. and- WAIT WHAT AM I THINKING! EMU IS JUST MY FRIEND.. NOTHING MORE THAN THAT! HAHAHA. Hold on. Me and Emu are together. Alone. In a popular date spot. While holding hands. Wait- HOLDING HANDS!? IS THIS A.. A.. DATE!?
Tsukasa looked back at Emu, who was comfortably holding his hand. He felt the warmth of her palms and fingers, while her voice was humming the melody of "Your Adventure Log Has Vanished!" Tsukasa's face lit up, maybe even turning a shade of pink.
I wonder what Tsukasa-kuns thinking about. His face is kind of pink.. we always hang out at the mall with Nene-chan and Rui-kun. Hm.. maybe going clothes shopping will take his mind off of whatever he's thinking about!
"Tsukasa-kun! Let's go here!" After snapping out of it, Tsukasa turned his head to see a clothing shop. "Here? I thought you were hungry?" As soon as that was said, Emu's stomach grumbled.
"Hehe.. I am. But let's check out some of these clothes! Let's go!" Emu, who was still holding his hand, rushed into the shop, and looking at some of the clothes inside. "Ooh.. so pretty.." Tsukasa found one that sparked his interest.
Huh.. Emu would look nice in this outfit..- NOPE, I MEANT THAT SHE MIGHT LIKE THIS OUTFIT! YEAH! YEAH THATS IT!
"Oi.. uh.. Emu!" She turned her head to see the outfit in Tsukasa's hands. "Maybe try this one..?" Emu took the outfit and ran for the changing room. "Ah.. I guess she liked it..?" She loved it. She came out and smiled. ♡⑅*˖•. ·͙*̩̩͙˚̩̥̩̥*̩̩̥͙·̩̩̥͙*̩̩̥͙˚̩̥̩̥*̩̩͙‧͙ .•˖*⑅♡

Tsukasa couldn't help but blush. His cheeks were red, and his heart was exploding. "Thank you! Thank you Tsukasa-kun!" She was jumping up and down, which eventually ended in a HUGE hug. Tsukasa was having a sensory overload. He could swear he saw someone take a picture and show it to their friends. ˏ⸉ˋ‿̩͙‿̩̩̽‿̩͙‿̩̥̩‿̩̩̽‿̩͙‿̩͙‿̩̩̽‿̩͙‿̩͙‿̩̩̽‿̩͙‿̩̥̩‿̩̩̽‿̩͙'⸊ˎ
As they checked out, they stopped at a nearby café, where Emu was chowing down on some bubble waffles, in her new outfit. Tsukasa had his mind caught up in something, leaving his bubble waffle up for grabs.
This isn't a date. This is a hangout between friends! Yeah! There's nothing romantic even happening here. A- He glanced at Emu's direction, where she had a chocolate stain on her cheek.
"Emu.. you got chocolate on your cheek." Y'know that cliché moment in movies where one person wipes the other persons cheek? Yeah. That happened. A café barista came over to take some of their garbage when she saw the moment happen.
"Aww.. so cute.. are you guys on dating?" Now it was Emus turn. She became red, began to twiddle with her thumbs but eventually answering the question. "No! We're just-" "WE'RE JUST FRIENDS HAHA! NOTHING MORE THAN THAT!" Tsukasa cut her off, but his voice was shaky, and his eyes were like swirls.
The barista giggled, knowing that Tsukasa liked Emu more than a friend. "Alright then.! If that's what you say boss!" She walked away, helping the next table. Tsukasa felt his heart racing. Now people think they're a couple. He felt mixed emotions.
He was embarrassed that people thinks they're a couple, and that he just yelled in the café (even though he yells and poses on in random places). But he was also kind of.. happy? That people saw them as a couple? He didn't know. His head was practically spinning. Emu finally had a spark of realization.
Wait.. dating? Me and Tsukasa-kun? Does it look like we are.. we did hold hands earlier.. Both of them were somewhat a blushy mess. Emu got up. She payed for the food and tugged on Tsukasa's arm, making him lose somewhat of a balance on his chair.
"Tsukasa-kun, come with me." Emu looked serious. "Eh? Okay..?" Tsukasa brushed off his jacket and walked to the park with Emu. He didn't know what this was about.. he wondered if she was mad at him for something.. "Emu.."
