Elizabeth's pov

"What are we doing?" I blurted out, pulling away from Jake, "I'm literally pregnant with your roommate's baby, Jake. This is insane,"

His arms fell slack, resting on my thighs as he stared at me.

"I thought-" He began before trying again, "I thought that was what you wanted?"

"It was. Or at least that's what I thought," I looked down at his hand, which had been scribbled on with a marker that I hadn't noticed before, "This isn't right, though,"

I slid off the counter, walking past him to the living room, leaving him to follow.

"So?" Jake asked, "We've both known that the entire time and now you're just using it against me," He looked like he was fighting frustration.

"No, stop," I sighed, pinching the bridge of my nose as I began to pace, "We can figure this out, but I'm not going to fucking break up with Colby over some kiss,"

"I didn't say you had to," He said, stepping back further and crossing his arms.

"I'm just putting it out there," I reassured before laughing unamusingly, "Why do we do the things we do?"

Jake grinned at that, and I wondered if maybe this was alright to be our little secret.

"Why do we have to change anything at all?" He asked, "They won't be home for another week, basically,"

"What will we do after that?" I asked, watching carefully as he crept closer to me.

"We'll forget this ever happened," He said quietly, his hot breath against my neck.

He gently kissed my neck, making a trail up to my lips with more and more intensity as he went along.

I felt like this was a reverse, deja-vu kind of moment.

The night before Colby left, it came up like a movie in my mind.

He had started gently at my lips, getting rougher and rougher as he went down my neck and to other parts of my body. I loved every second of it, and what Jake is doing to me can hardly compare.

The fact that I was fueled to do this, to cheat on Colby, was sick.

I'm fucking sick. Sick in the head, sick in the heart.

But I didn't care.

I grabbed Jake's face, easily lifting my feet off the ground and wrapping my legs around his waist as he quickly adapted to the brutality of my affection.

His hands held onto my ass and thigh out of pure surprise, and I swiped my tongue across his lip as if I was asking if it was okay to take a step further.

I wasn't asking, I was demanding. Whether he knew that or not was a mystery to me, but he let me in unhesitantly.

I could feel him walking below me, and I peeked open my eyes to see him sitting down on the couch, with me on top of him.

A smirk fought its way across my busy lips as his hands traveled my backside, slowly making their way up my body.

A very familiar ringing came from the hallway, and I separated my lips from Jake's to see his eyes wide beneath me.

"Is that the door alarm?" I asked quietly, and he nodded. "Shit,"

"Uh, am I interrupting something?" I quickly climbed off Jake's lap, standing to look and see who was talking, "And who are you?"

The woman talking was surely shorter than me, maybe by only an inch, "Tori," Jake said awkwardly, "What are you doing here?"

"Aaron and I came back a couple of days early, we just figured we'd drop off his stuff real quick, right baby?" She said, looking over her shoulder as Aaron walked down the hallway from the front door.

"Liz!" Aaron greeted, "I didn't know you would be here! Did you introduce yourself?" At my blank expression, he did it for me, "Liz this is Tori, my girlfriend. Tori, this is Liz, Colby's girlfriend. You guys will get along great,"

"You mean Jake?" She asked pointing over at Jake who was masking a guilty expression with a confused one.

"No, Colby. That's Jake," Aaron pointed. "Colby's in Australia right now,"

"Yeah, I just walked in on them making out," Tori motioned to the couch where Jake and I had been moments ago.

"What the fuck?" Jake asked, his eyebrows furrowing.

"What do you mean?" Aaron asked with a confused laugh, "You guys weren't making out right?"

"No, I was popping pimples on his face. I can see why it looks really bad though, especially from her angle," I said coolly. One of the many things I learned from having a strict father and strict, psycho-wack-bitch stepmother: how to lie instantly and be believed.

"I know what I saw," She insisted, shaking her head, "She was fucking mauling him,"

"I was not," I snapped, taking a step closer to her, "I know what I was doing,"

"I saw what you were doing," She retorted, "You can try and lie your way out of this but I'm not fucking stupid,"

"Like I said, I was popping pimples on his face. Are you calling me a liar?" I couldn't help but internally laugh at the way she blankly stared at me, not wanting to insult me but also knowing that she is right in this case.

"That's what I thought," I said, looking over at Aaron, "Sorry for that. Glad we got it all sorted out now,"

"Did we?" Aaron asked, his smile widening to try and ease the tension.

"Yes, now let's change the subject. How long are you staying?" I asked, avoiding eye contact with Tori.

"Um, I think we were just gonna drop my stuff off then leave again, because Tori wants to-" He was cut off by his rat-looking girlfriend grabbing his arm.

"Actually, we're gonna stick around," She said, scrunching her nose at me, "The boys will be home in a couple of days, so we just want to be here for when they are back,"

"Wonderful, we were just getting so bored with the lack of company," I said before turning to nudge Jake, "Right?"

"Yeah," He grinned weakly, "So bored."

In fact, it was quite the opposite.

We were just starting to have fun.
