SYNOPSIS

    PLAINVIEW's downtown operated like clockwork.

    The same three children would walk to the same ice cream parlor at the same time every day, ordering the same three flavors of ice cream to the old man at the counter.
The same group of businesswomen would rush out of the same office building at 5:30 p.m. sharp.

    And the same boy was always playing his guitar by the entrance of the same ice cream shop.

      MILES MACEY was that boy.

      EVERYONE in Plainview longed for a life of adventure. It seemed like each person in the town was the gear of a clock, all moving in perfect sync with each other. One gear falling out of line would cause the whole system to falter. He was the faulty piece, watching the device work from the sidelines.

    But one day, a shaggy-haired drummer started working at Old Timey Ice Cream Parlor. And he took notice of Miles.

     The idea for a Rodrick Heffley x Trans OC has been marinating in my head for so long! Miles has existed for long before I started writing, but I realized that his personality fit really well with my WIP, so I decided to make him the lead!
