Voxto fanfic - Combined Strength

When they entered the kitchen. Luca started, 'How about we introduce each other first? I'm Luca Kaneshiro. I was once a mafia boss, but decided to step down. I wanted to join my friends and help them, so that's why I'm here now. Even though, we had a rough start, it's nice to meet you.'

After introducing himself, he nudged Mysta beside him to say something which he did. 'I'm Mysta Rias. I'm a detective. That's why I know a lot about people, so I got ahead of myself and thought, you were gonna hurt my friends. I'm really sorry. I hope we can forget about that and start over?'

(Here you go again :D)

Shoto obviously already forgave him, but he still wanted to tease him a little. The man dressed in orange just looked so teasable, 'That really hurt my feelings, you know? Maybe, if you do me a favor, I'll forgive you.' Mysta's eyes widened for a moment, but his gaze soon dropped and he nodded. Then he stammered, 'I-If there is anything I can do, then sure.' The other chuckled, 'Then let's start by becoming friends.' Mysta lifted his head again. 'That's it? Isn't there anything else?'
Shoto answered, 'No. It's fine, really. I'm not mad. I can understand why you acted like you did. But there is one thing I would like to ask of you, if you are willing and Luca, too.'
The men in question looked at each other and back to Shoto. Then the purplette continued, 'Would you two like to join my guild? Shu already joined and we are planning on growing it further, to protect this castle and it's residents. We already got a guild house, too. It just needs a little repairing.'
Seeing as the other two hesitated, he added, 'Don't worry. I'm not expecting an answer right away. Maybe we can get to know each other better and then you decide?' They looked at each other once more and smiled. Then Mysta answered. 'We will join your guild.'

Shoto was buffled, 'What? That was fast. But why?'
'Just a hunch. Right, Luca?' Mysta said. Luca nodded. 'Yes. And seeing how Shu already joined, there's nothing to doubt.' He smiled.
That was the third time, Shoto was moved by his new friends.
'I haven't even been here for two days and I'm already glad, I came here. Thank you guys, really' He sniffled.

'Eyyyyy. Welcome to the guild, my juniors.' Shu was now fully dressed and just waited for the opportunity to say that. Mysta chuckled, 'Juniors? Didn't you also just join, like today?' The other replied, 'But, I still joined before you.' Everyone laughed. Shu flinched slightly, but strong enough for the others to notice. Ike instantly grabbed a chair and told Shu to sit down, which he gratefully did.
The others followed right after, except for Vox, who was cooking.

'So-' Mysta began. 'What happened, for you to end up like that?' Shu shrugged, 'I was careless. I got ambushed when I was nearly at the castle grounds. But, I took care of them. Well, except for one person. Shoto killed him, when he tried to harm Ike.' Mysta and Luca instantly looked at Ike, who calmed them down, 'As Shu said, he "tried". But Shoto was faster and well, he saved my life.' This time, the two looked at Shoto with puppy eyes, looking like they were about to cry. Shu then asked, 'By the way, how did Shoto end up here?' Vox, who was in the middle of placing food on the plates, answered, 'We met in the forest in the east. I also got ambushed yesterday and he happened to come across me, when I was fighting the last enemy standing. Since I couldn't move much after the fight, he helped me get back to the castle. And that's about it.' The two puppy boys looked at Shoto again, this time with wobbling lips. Luca then exclaimed, 'I'm already glad, I joined your guild' and Mysta agreed, 'Me too', followed by Shu's 'Yeap'.

Vox then interrupted them, 'Come on boys. You are embarrassing him. Stop staring at him with those puppy eyes' He laughed. 'Let's eat now, before it gets cold.'
While eating, they talked about their business trips and told each other a few funny stories. Shoto was mostly listening, since he enjoyed the atmosphere, he wasn't used to, and laughed with them here and there.

After dinner, they talked about their next plans. Ike and Vox would take care of the typical castle business, while Mysta would gather information about the residents' needs and what else needed to be done in the bailey. Luca and Shoto were planning on going to the guild house and start cleaning. The repairing came after. Shu, on the other hand, had to stay in his room and rest, since he didn't heal as fast as Vox. Demons generally healed faster than humans.
