Everybody's favorite ship -- Oumeno! Pulled into oneshots. If you're here to hate on this ship then whatever, it just goes to show that you like to be toxic to others. Respect our opinions like we respect yours. Also, some oneshots may change from t...
Clear chatter filled the room, the vacant stage in front of the seats had tables upon tables filled with different magic devices Ouma had never seen before.
He knew a few of them, like the box cutting trick. Others he didn't.
He tapped his foot in anticipation. Since Yumeno had invited their class to see her magic show, Kokichi was full of anticipation and above all, excitement.
Did it have to do with seeing his crush do what she loved? Well.. partly.
But also because he'd been oh, so bored recently! Most of the D.I.C.E members have been busy lately, meaning they can't hang out together or graffiti old buildings.
He missed having his friends around. D.I.C.E was always an absolute joy to be around.
But for now, this magic show will do.
The lights dimmed, and the chatter quieted down. An announcement voice came on.
"Ladies and Gentleman, Boys and girls.. I would like to welcome to the stage..
THE AMAZING HIMIKO YUMENO!"
In a fast gust of wind, Himiko appeared out of nowhere. She held her cape up with her right hand and a cream colored staff in the other. She had a smirk on her face, and for the first time ever, Kokichi had seen a fully charged, ready to go, energetic Himiko Yumeno.
"Hello everyone!~" she chirped, and a roar of cheering and applauding filled the room. "Welcome, to my magic show!"
She bowed, turning on her heel towards a table. "Today, I'd like to start off our show with a more dangerous trick," she smiled, grabbing the gigantic saw off the table, replacing it with her staff.
She swung the saw around elegantly, her skirt bouncing as she walked back to the front of the stage. "The box cutting trick!"
She swung the saw, and a full sized table with a person wearing a white suit and black mask laid in the box on top of it.
Kokichi subconsciously started to bounce his knee, a small detail that shows his excitement. As much as he loved teasing her about her magic not being real, he had to admit, her tricks were very convincing.
"Let's start, shall we?"
She picked it up, the spotlight making the weapon gleam. She swung downwards, effectively putting the saw at least an inch deep down into the box. From there, she sawed back and forth, back and forth, until the box was in two. She separated the boxes slightly, then put them together again, giving it a quick shake.
She smirked deviously, taking off her hat and sticking her hand inside, as if to find something. Her face lit up once she found it, she brought it up, pacing her hat back on her head.
She waved the wand at the box, and chanted a small spell.
The person in the body suit rose from the box, perfectly intact in one.
People hollered and hooted. Girls and boys were filled with excitement. The row in front of him had a girl saying how much she aspired to be like Himiko, waving her own small wand. It was wholesome, so wholesome.
He had clapped with everyone, and his fellow classmates had started to tear up a little, except for a few expectations like Maki, Kirumi and Ryoma.
That night, Kokichi had seen so many magic tricks, some he's seen dozens of times and others that were completely new to him. But every trick that she did was still absolutely captivating. Beautiful. Mesmerizing.
He wanted to hug her so badly after the show had ended, to tell her how great of a magician- mage she really was.
He did catch her talking to the girl from earlier in the row in front of Kokichi, and a few other children.
"You're so cool, Ms.Yumeno!" The girl cried.
"Yes, yes!" The others cheered, making Himiko giggle. "Nyeh, practice pays off." She smiles.
"Hey, Himiko." Kokichi approached her.
Her head snapped up and a faint blush crawled over her cheeks - he thinks.
"Oh, hello K-Kokichi." She stuttered slightly.
"I just wanted to tell you.." he started. "Good job today."
"Nyeh?! O-oh! Thank you!" She smiled.
Kokichi gave a small smile back, and as he turned to walk away he could hear the kids bugging Yumeno about him.
'I think that's enough fun for the day," He sighs.
