!•LANGUAGE•!

Something Kokichi always believed was that everyone, at one point, would break. They'd break down, fall to their knees, admit defeat. One way or another, they just would. Kokichi firmly believed in this concept.

But that always raised the question, but what about him? Kokichi?

Of course, he's shed few tears, but never broken down or cried. Kokichi was the only one who could never break, no matter the weight of guilt.

At least... That's what he thought he was..

That thought consumed his mindset until this damned killing game.

Until.. Himiko Yumeno.

Kokichi was surprised about her repressed emotions. Even more surprised by his help to her.

Until finally, her breaking point arrived. After the third class trial, she broke down, sobbing oceans of tears. The loss of her friends made her feel guilty, and Kokichi could see it.

But the next day? Oh, that was what made him question everything.

Never once had Kokichi ever seen someone become as positive as Himiko tried to.

He's seen people break down. And usually they'd stay gloomy for a few more days before returning to a state of normalcy.

But for her to change so fast? It was testing Kokichi's perception.

So here he was, laying in the grass. Looking outside the dome that held him captured.

The more Kokichi thought about Himiko the more he pondered about himself. Did... He always feel this empty before?

He never liked this killing game, either. He wanted to escape badly.. but at the cost of lives? His friends- friends? Since when were the students here his friends?

Come to think of it... He didn't exactly liked the way he presented himself either. A compulsive liar isn't exactly the best image. The other students hated him.. they we were repulsed by the thought of him.

Did he always have this felling of guilt..? This pit in his stomach ..?

He didn't realize it, but tears were starting to form. They generated so fast, like they were programmed to come down in a stream.

Until finally...

Kokichi Ouma reached his breaking point.

He burst out in tears, this time, not the fake ones he used to manipulate the others.

He buried this face in his knees. He didn't understand, why?! Why was he feeling such guilt? Such sadness? Such.. despair?

"A..Am I really that horrible?!" He whsiper-yelled to himself.

"Damn it.." he muttered. He cursed under his breath endlessly, his feelings mixed into a pit of despair at the bottom of his stomach.

"O-Ouma..?" A timid voice called.

Ouma flinched and shot up. Flinched?..

Wiping away his tears quickly, he put on his mask again.

"Hmm? Nishishi, did you call my name?" Kokichi grinned foolishly in spite of himself.

Looking up, Kokichi saw the girl who called to him. Himiko Yumeno. She stood a few feet away from him, her face showed disappointment and worry.

"Nyeh, Why're you here?"

"Why're you here?"

"Stop the games, Ouma."

Her frown deepened, and mine formed.

"Games? Silly, silly, himiko-"

"You were crying, weren't you?"

He froze. Though my face was blank, my feelings were sinking deeper and deeper. That feeling of being weak. Of being lesser. He hated it! He refused to ever be put down again! Not after... Not again!

"In your dreams, Yumeno-San-" his voice grew slowly agitated, before being cut off again.

"Enough! I know what I saw, Ouma! You. Were. Crying."

"I. Was. Not. Now go away." He shooed her off, growing annoyed by the second.

"Ouma, Stop lying!"

"Yumeno, Stop being annoying!" He bit his lip, and she looked offended. She sucked in her cheeks.

"Right back at you!"

"Shut up, and leave me be!"

"Not until you admit to CRYING!"

"I already told you, I. WASN'T."

"STOP LYING!"
She stomped her foot.

"STOP BEING STUPID!"
He stood up

"STOP REPRESSING YOUR FEELING-"

"STOP PUTTING ME DOWN!"

There it was. The final straw. His breaking point. The tears gushed out again, slipping from his eyes and rolling down his face.

"STOP, JUST STOP! I WILL NOT GO THROUGH THIS, AGAIN! ONCE IS ENOUGH! YOU THINK I WANT TO BE IN THIS BULLSH.T KILLING GAME TOO?!"

Himiko took a step back and flinched. Tears trickled down her cheeks.

"I'M MESSED UP, I KNOW! IM A LIAR, I'M AN A-HOLE! JUST STOP! Stop.."

He fell to his knees, buying his face in his hands. How embarrassing.. being seen so vulnerable..

He tried not to make pathetic noises, as arms wrapped around him, embracing him in a warm hug.

Himiko didn't know what to say. The boy just cried it all out, breaking down completely. She just stroked his hair, and whispered comforting words into his ear.

It didn't take long for the crying to be replaced by small snoring sounds. Himiko stroked his hair as the sun feel. From noon to night, Himiko sat there comforting the boy.

"Kokichi finally reached his breaking point..." Himiko sighed.
