"Nyeh.. Kichi..?" I heard my girlfriend call out from the other side of the door. "What going on..? Are you ok?!"

Her voice cracks, and I tremble. The blood trickles down my mouth and drops to the floor.

"Y...Yeah, I'm fine Miko." I spur out, barely managing to even talk.

"Nyehh... If everything's fine, them let me in!" She demanded at the doorknob turned and the door rattled.

"Not right now, Himiko." I mutter. I grasped the counter tightly, choking up more blood that speed violently into the sink.

God.. will this cursed disease leave him alone?! He had a girlfriend, family, friends. He couldn't die yet! Not at this age!

I sighed, and turned on the water. It washed away most of the blood in the sink, while I used toilet paper towels to clean up remaining blood on the floor, before throwing the bloody paper away.

I splashed water on my face, then dried it with a towel. I looked ok, like I normally do.

I unlocked the door and stepped out, Himiko was waiting on the bed, and perked up as I stepped out.

"Kichi!" She ran up and hugged some tightly.

I laughed and wrapped my arms around her, laying my chin on her head.

"Are you ok?" She asks worriedly.

"Yeah, I'm fine, Miko! Don't  worry!" I let go of her embrace and grinned mischievously.

But her frown didn't go away, and she looked suspicious of me still. Damn it..

"Awh come on Himiko! Light up!" I encourage her, beckoning her to come to the bed. "We were gonna watch a movie, right?"

"Mhmm.. yeah." She smiled slightly and comes over.

"Kokichi, please tell me what's wrong." Himiko sighed.

"What do you meannn?" I say in a singy-song voice, trying not to cough up a little clott of blood.

"Ouma, stop lying! Something's wrong."

I bit my lip. I hate the worry in her voice so much.

"Nothing's wrong Miko," I sigh, and wrap my arms around her. "Let's just watch the movie.. ok?" I place a gentle kiss on her head.

She frowns but reluctantly relaxes next to me. I pressed 'play' on the movie, and I leaned against Miko's head .

Damn. Sometimes it hurts to be the liar .
