I've Had Enough

Part 5

Izuku's POV :
And..Done.
I've been working on this facility for almost a week , yet it came out just as I had imagined it . It's almost 4 in the morning which means I could have about an hour n a half of sleep before going to work "yawn"

"Beep..beep..beep..beep"
I cracked my eyes open hardly to catch a glimpse of the time and .. "SHIT" , I'm late .
I jogged down the sidewalk till I reached the coffee shop breathless , caught my breath , and entered with a happy , yet fake, smile. However, I took my position , took orders and cleaned here and there till the end of my shift . Yeah I know .. what a boring life I have but.. fate just has its plans . Everyday passes feels like a thousand knives are added to my already torn heart , the pain isn't just still there , it even grew .. things .. everything has changed , I..I changed. My life , that day, crumbled , my soul was burnt into ashes, my tears dried out, I was no more where I was ,I felt soulless..

Anyway, life keeps going whether you like it or not , you are dragged with it , you are obliged to eat , to shower , to drink , to do what ever shit you're supposed to do cuz you're fucking alive "BANG"
"Holyshit.."
I got so caught in my thoughts that I dropped the cups ugh , more cleaning . Right now , I am just patiently waiting for the time I free myself from this ridiculous routine I am living everyday , waiting for my twinkling hours ..

Time skip..

I wore my gear , the mask , brown lenses, and put on my hoodie covering my bumpy green hair. I set myself free swinging from a building to another whilst feeling the cold wind sting my face. Time for action
"Woooohooo"

Eraser's Pov :

Another exhausting night shift at the most problematic place..what a pleasure. I grabbed a large cup of coffee to be able to endure this night because I have a sense telling me a lot of work is on the way . However, I have big hopes for tonight as well, I have a feeling my prey will be there "slam face " that problem grabber..

It is already midnight and there's no sign of soulless. Plus, that the most problematic place has no freakin PROBLEMS. Something doesn't feel right .. I have extended the area of my patrol , and started looking for any incident . Since everywhere seemed so creepingly quiet, I was certain now that something has happened .
" BUZZZ .. BUZZZ.."
I grabbed my phone , and it was a call from Tsukauchi. Once I answered , his voice damaged my ear :" ERASER!! YOU WONT BELIEVE IT. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING ."
" Just spill it , you're getting on my nerves "
" Soulless , he.. " I cut him :"Is captured?!!"
" Not that easily.. actually he is the one who captured..a dozen of the most wanted villains in one night ! Can you believe it ?! "
"What?! When is that? I have been patrolling for hours and haven't seen a single fight .."
" Well Eraser , the green sticky note says that he was just lucky.."
" I doubt that .."
" What are you pointing to ?"
"Tsukauchi, in what state are the villains?"
" Most of them were covered in blood mainly caused by a sharp object ."
"Explain more"
"Actually after interrogation we knew that they had a meeting at xxxxx , and surprisingly soulless broke into their hideout, then everything went black in few minutes."
" All at once?"
"Yup"
" Interesting. And..no clue about soulless?"
"Not at all"
" Ok. Thanks , talk to you later."

I was amazed yet worried, I am certain that nobody can take down all these villains alone ,let alone in one night . I headed to the place Tsukauchi told me about and started searching for any clue that'll lead me to him . I was about to lose hope , but when I was going out I noticed something shining on the ground . I picked it and examined it .." Yes, it's crystal"
I instantly turned around to see him sitting on the edge of the window with his shadowy figure bolded by the light of the moon behind him. I broke the silence and hid my shock with my calm tone..
" I see"
"You have a good eye Zawa,but you weren't supposed to get that before me "
"Exposed , aren't you?!"
"Not much , but I consider you the winner this time ;) . See ya 👋 "
"Soulless!"
"What?"
" Why so fast this time ?"
" Out of breath :} goodbye"
And he disappeared into thin air, but I still have a feeling , a bad one . "

Time skip..

Izuku's POV:

I took today off , I was suffocating, suffering, dying, in utter pain . Yesterday was really tough , actually the toughest I've ever had , since things didn't go as planned . I had a really good tic tac to capture every single villain in that meeting using my new invention .
Everything went well , the cool entrance and all , but at the moment I pressed the button of my " crystal shooter" I was stabbed with a knife in my thigh , he was fast, but not enough for him to escape.
Luckily my shooter worked , and since it shoots pointed and very sharp crystals 360 degrees , everybody dropped with bad injuries , along with me >~<.
I sure gathered all the remaining strength I had , tied them up , called the cops and escaped . My crystals are designed to automatically break down after a minute of being shot , but I suppose that I forgot to develop one as the rest. I noticed it before the police arrived so I decided to come get it after they go. Anyway, someone beat me hehe . To add to my misery, that knife was stabbed in my burnt thigh , which made it very hard not to scream and contain myself especially infront of zawa whom , for some reason , showed no will to capture me yet to check on me .. I think I'm just imagining it ..
Thinking about yesterday, it has been a long time since I felt so lonely, I was laying on the floor soaked in my own blood with no energy to move .. my apartment was filled with deathly silence , while I endured agonies of loneliness and misery..
I don't know till when I'll keep this up , sometimes I feel a useless piece of shit that has no purpose of living , just like I was always told..
