      |Oliver|

I pulled up to Valerie's business almost running into her building.

Putting my car in park, I hopped out and walked inside without turning my car off or shutting my door.

I was pissed and all I was seeing was red.

I couldn't let this bitch take what was making me who I really was.

"Valerie!", I yelled when I walked in.

Her receptionist jumped and stood up.

"Um. Excuse me, sir-", she started to say before I shushed her.

"Bitch, shut up. Valerie get your ass out here!", I yelled.

I could hear heels clicking quickly towards where I was.

Valerie came out of the hallway behind the receptionist desk holding a bat.

She was always a pretty princess to me but now I was feeling like she looked like the green bitch from Shrek.

"Where's Keli?", I asked her annoyed.

"I'll let this bat answer, asshole.", she mugged.

"Really? Valerie, you owe me.", I chuckled.

"Owe you?", she asked.

"Yes. I saved you!", I shouted.

"Right. You saved me from someone who's level of demon you've already passed, Oliver. I'm not telling you where she is. Ever!", she shouted.

"Valerie!", I screamed.

"Oliver!", she screamed back.

I was hurt.

It reminded me of the hurt I felt when she decided to leave me and my brothers.

I never let it show but now.....now fuck it.

"You're a bitch, Valerie! You were so lucky to make it out. Make it out of our family! Make it out of the situation with Devin! Make it out of whatever! I'm fucked up, Valerie! And everyone knows because of Keli.....I need Keli!", I spoke calmly but loudly.

"That's too bad.....she's never going to be with you again, Oliver. She can't save you.", she spoke back calmly.

"Just like you, huh?", I asked.

"Hey, go home for the day. You'll still get paid.", she said to her receptionist.

The girl quickly grabbed her stuff and ran out of the building.

I blacked out as the girl ran past me.

"Valerie.....why can't you stay? We can go through this together....", I asked Valerie.

She was 7 and I was only 5.

But I was aware...I knew what went on in our house wasn't normal.

She ignored me and looked out the window.

"I don't want to be here anymore, Oliver.", she finally said.

"What about me? Don't I make you want to be here?", I asked her.

"You do. I'll come visit and you can come visit me. We will always be there for each other.", she said while walking back over to me.

She hugged me and my face pressed against her chest.

My tears wetting her shirt.

I want to go too.
