The pair went many rounds going all night long, the younger fell asleep after Chan cleaned them up. He did the same as well...

But...he wasn't able to fall asleep even if feeling tired, because his mind was still on that client who hurt Felix's feelings and canceled their design services for him.

That's still such a stupid and ignorant reason...dumbass prick...

The younger was asleep against his chest as Chan kept shifting some, he sighed with tired eyes staring at the ceiling.

I hope it doesn't affect his confidence again...he's been doing so well...without anyone saying rude remarks like that...for a while now

Chan sighed again closing his eyes trying to drift off to sleep, it worked for a bit...but then...

He began to have a bad dream...

"Blue eye freak!"
"That's why your parents don't want you! You're weird!"
"Ugly! you will never have friends!"

Thinking about Felix's situation with his blue eye...triggered some bad memories in his childhood, the mean picking on or bullying he would receive in between foster homes and orphanages...

For being different just like Felix.

"Stop! L-leave me alone-"

"Ugly eye-"

"Stop!!!"

Chan suddenly yelled waking him out of his sleep, he was breathing heavy seeing the ceiling again.

Dammit

He let out a deep breath sitting up, pushing his hair back as he rubbed his eyes trying to lower his heart rate.

Stupid nightmare...it-

*meow*
"Channie...?"

Chan moved his hand away looking over to see Felix purr awake, he gave a small meow after hearing Chan's voice and shifting against his body.

"Kitten..."

Felix opened his eyes some seeing Chan awake, but he saw his expression look distressed.

"Channie...? Why are you awake...? Is something wrong...?" He meowed with worry sitting up too, Chan took another breath running his hand through his hair again.

"Um...just a bad dream. That's all kitten, sorry I woke you..." Chan tried to explain, Felix gave a sad meow crawling into his lap cupping his face.

*meow*

"Channie you had a bad dream? Oh no...I'm sorry..." Felix meowed as his cat ears went down.

"I'll be fine sweetie-"

"I'm here Channie, I'm your Angel kitty...I'll cuddle you until you feel better...Angels help people feel better..." Felix meowed wrapping his arms around Chan's neck hugging him, Chan smiled some already feeling at ease.

"Thank you princess kitty...you're my only kitten..." Chan put his arms around the younger hugging him back, he kissed his shoulder holding the boy against his chest. Feeling Felix's purrs soothe his emotions, his purrs vibrated through his body as he nuzzled his face in Felix's neck.

"My sweet kitty..." Chan whispered hugging him tight, the boy gave kitten licks on his cheek twirling his tail around more. They quietly embraced each other for a bit longer, Felix slowly leaned back twitching his cat ears.

*meow*

"Princess...?" Chan noticed the boy looking down, Felix gently placed his small hand on Chan's chest purring some.
