After their many sex breaks at work...Chan got back to work finishing up his workday. They soon after started their date that evening, first their dinner at a restaurant and now decided to explore a new book store Felix found.

"Wow! This book is new!" Felix meowed reading the cover page as he checked the drama-romance section, Chan went off somewhere to see the new music area. Soon after he came looking for the hybrid in the aisles.

"Let's see...not here...not here-
Oh! There he is~" Chan found the boy holding 2 books in his arms, meowing and looking for more along the bookcase.

So cute he looks like that

Chan came down the aisle, but Felix's cat ears twitched hearing footsteps and sniffing the air for Chan's scent.

"Channie? Channie hi!" Felix meowed from down the aisle, the older laughed some approaching the hybrid.

"Hi kitty princess, my cute kitten sensed me already~" Chan winked stepping closer, Felix meowed and giggled twirling his tail around.

*meow*

"You find some good books baby?" Chan asked petting his head.

"Oh yes Channie! This one is called Maxident: Case 143! And this one is burlesque!" Felix showed Chan the books, the older hummed seeing them.

"Ohhh kitten found some interesting ones~"

"Yes Channie! I'm looking for one more! Um..." Felix turned his attention back to the upper shelves, Chan slipped his arms around his waist hugging him from behind and kissing his head.

The hybrid purred as he continued to scan the shelves for another book.

"That one!" Felix smiled reaching to grab it, Chan looked at the cover seeing the title.

"Gone away?" He read it out loud.

"Yes Channie I heard this one is good too!" Felix meowed flipping through the pages, Chan smiled kissing his head.

"Alright, anything you want kitten. You want to look at any other areas-"

"The kitty section!" Felix rushed off away from Chan, the older sighed with a smile following after.

Short attention span kitty...

They went to look at the section with cat themed gifts such as notebooks, mugs, stationery that had cat patterns too. Felix saw some stickers he wanted seeing so many as Chan held his books for him.

"Look Channie! They have boba tea kitties!"

"Awww just like my kitten~"

*meow*

Felix grabbed a few cute notebooks too adding them to his stack of things.

"Ok Channie! I'm ready to buy them!" Felix meowed taking the stack from the older.

"Alright baby, but you know I can pay-"

"Channie we have shared financials! I'm paying this time!" Felix sternly meowed giving a pout, Chan nodded with a laugh.

"Yes my independent kitty, you can~"

*meow*
"Yay! I cant wait to read my books Channie! And I got stickers for Nako too!" Felix giggled making his way around the bookstore to the register.

"Oh ya? Which one you gonna read first?" He teased following the boy, the younger twirled his tail thinking as he went around a corner.

"Um...oh! Maybe the-"

But then he suddenly stopped in his tracks seeing something, the older bumped into him a bit holding his shoulders.

"Kitten? Why did you stop? You don't have to think that hard and decide right now~" Chan teased petting his head, Felix however had his gaze at the register line. His cat ears went down giving a small sad meow.
