-Mingyu-
'Tall, Handsome, Strong... and a good cook? This can't be real!' You thought to yourself. You stood in the doorway leaning against the wall watching Mingyu prep for dinner. He had his glasses on the lower part of the bridge of his nose. His hair was messy since he had just woken up from a long-needed nap. His sweat pants hung low on his hips and his perfectly toned torso was bare. The sleep was still evident in his eyes as he yawned and ran his fingers through his long wavy hair.
You made your way over to him and wrapped your arms around him from behind in a back hug. He continued to read the recipe in front of him while chuckling at your actions.
"Hello, handsome!" You mumbled on his skin while peppering his bare back with a bunch of kisses.
"Hey Beautiful" He replied turning around to look at you. His eyes scanned your entire body from top to bottom a few times causing you to blush nervously. "Is this my T-shirt?" He asked kissing your forehead.
"It is..." You replied nervously.
"It looks good on you... are you wearing pants underneath?" He lifted the hem of his shirt to be met with nothing but your red boy short panties. He smirked and let the shirt go so it fell back down to your mid-thigh.
"I guess you got your answer." You shrugged and pulled away from him. You were going to go put shorts on when he stopped you by wrapping his large hand around your wrist and pulling you back to him. He effortlessly lifted you onto the counter and continued with his task of preparing to cook dinner.
"Can you eat this?" He pointed to the book on the counter. You leaned over and read the ingredient he ask you about and shook your head yes.
You sat quietly watching him while kicking your dangling feet adorned with fuzzy socks that looked like a puppy. It's true Mingyu was much bigger than you and you always questioned why such a handsome man would willingly want to be with you. 2 years into the relationship and you still struggled to wrap your mind around the fact he chose you.
"Can I ask you a question?" You break the silence as your thoughts fight to overtake your rational thinking. Mingyu's eyes looked up over his glasses to get a feeling of the type of question you were going to ask.
"Of course..." He treads lightly while putting the radish down and giving you his full attention.
"Are you... How did... why did..." You began but could never finish. He took a step over to you and stood between your legs rubbing his hands up and down your bare thighs lightly, soothing your nerves.
"Take your time I am not going anywhere." He smiled reassuringly. You took a deep breath and began again.
"Are you happy... like being with me?" You asked as the volume of your voice decreased more and more until you finished and you avoided eye contact with him nervous to see his expression.
"Why are you asking that?" His eyebrows furrowed confused and he studied your face carefully.
"It's just a question I've wanted to know for a while now." You grinned at him trying to be convincing but failing.
"I am the happiest I have ever been... because of you." He bopped the tip of your nose then rubbed his nose against yours.
"I am being serious." You giggled causing him to sigh.
"I am being serious as well. You make breathing easier and you make mornings brighter. You make life extra colorful and vibrant. I never realized how dull everything was until you showed up and turned everything upside down... in a good way." he tucked a stray piece of hair behind your ear and gently caressed your cheek in the process.
"I never knew that." You said barely above a whisper looking up at him and resting your hand on top of his that rested gently behind your ear as his thumb grazed your cheek. He stared deep into your eyes and leaned in leaving a lingering peck on your lips before pulling away.
"What about you are you happy to be with me?" He whispered a few centimeters from your lips. You hesitated to answer wanting to tell him how you actually felt instead of the first thing to pop into your head.
"You make me smile all the time and you make me feel safe. No matter how much time has passed you are the only person I get excited to tell my accomplishments to and the only person I want to be with when I am done with people. I didn't choose to love you it just came so naturally that I can't think of a life without you." He smiled and leaned in for a deeper much more passionate his. His free hand matched the other one on the other side of your face as the kiss deepened.
Lips moving in sync, tongues playfully teasing one another, and small giggles into the wistful kiss.
"I should- finish making dinner- so we can watch- more movies- and cuddle." He said between every few kisses. You giggled and gently pushed him away.
"Let me help so we can get done faster then." You laughed jumping off the counter.
