Digging through your small crossbody purse for your prescription sunglasses you groan in frustration.
"This Cherry Candy is taking over my bag!" Your friend turned to look at you confused. She proceeded to take your purse and look inside of it.
"Why do you have so many cherry candies? You are allergic to artificial dyes and colorings!" You sign in relief when you finally touch your sunglasses beneath the layer of hard candy wrapped in gold tinfoil.
"Ugh Seungcheol loves them and it's a habit I have picked up since we met." She eyes you through the corner of her eyes calculating things in her head.
"You have lived in the apartment next to him and his brother for like 3 years now." You nod placing your sunglasses on your face and getting out of the drivers seat.
You both walk into the restaurant and asked to be seated outside. Looking over the menu and ordering the both of you sit back in your chairs to let the sun sink into your skin.
"It's nice out here isn't it?" You sigh enjoying the peaceful environment.
"You are in love with Seungcheol aren't you?" You sit up straight abruptly and lean over the edge of the table.
"Where the hell did that come from?" You asked her as she sits up and opens her eyes with a mischievous smile on her face.
"You carry around Cherry flavored candy in your purse for him. You have a key to his apartment and he has a key to yours. You both see each other everyday even if its for a few minutes in the hall or elevator. He even calls you a million times a day and you both are constantly texting each other. What else am I going to think?" She was right about all of that except one thing.
"I am not in love with him! We are just really close. Even if I was he DEFINITELY does not feel that towards me." Kelly sat back in her chair again raising an eyebrow at you.
"I think he does. It's mutual both of you are just to scared to admit it because you both have gotten way too comfortable in the way your relationship works." You wanted to retaliate but you couldn't. She thought he also had feelings for you and that is where you mind stopped processing.
"You are reading too much into nothing." You food arrived just in time to stop the conversation. But all you could think about was Seungcheol possibly having feelings for you.
Once you dropped Kelly off at her place you drove home and sat in the car for a few seconds. You didn't want to seem off because Seungcheol would know if you ran into him. As you began stepping out of your car someone opened the door wider for you catching you a bit off guard.
"Hey how was your day today?" The cute gummy smile you were so fond of appeared making your heart flutter. That was definitely a new feeling you had never felt before.
"Hey it was good! How was yours?" You step away from the car door as he closes it for you. Locking the car you walk into the building into the elevator as Seungcheol follows you.
"It was good. I went to your favorite place and saw you and Kelly arguing about something. I grabbed my order and left though because I was pretty busy at work today." You nod and press the button for your floor. You quickly to to him finally processing his words.
"Oh did you hear anything of what we were arguing about?" He shook his head with a bummed smile.
"No but it seemed intense. Everything okay with You and Kelly?" You nod and fake a small nervous smile.
"Yeah just Kelly being Kelly." He chuckles as well and then the door opens.
"Can I come over later so we can watch a movie." You dig through your purse for your key but he is faster and opens your door for you. You hand him a candy which he gladly accepts and follows you in.
