3 Years ago you moved into an apartment with a total stranger. It was my freshman year of college and you had no choice but to live with your parents' best friend's kid. Both of you were the same age but never actually met. Fast forward to today and you were staring at him from across the room praying he would catch the hint and help you out of this party.
Our eyes meet and he tilts his head a bit signaling for us to leave. You excuse yourself and say your goodbyes as you scurry out of the Frat house.
"Thank you so much" You sigh in relief as he wraps his arm around you.
The past 3 years have been interesting for lack of a better word. You two had gotten really close and would do everything together. People always asked if you were a couple but you would always shrug it off and think nothing of it.
"Want to watch a movie when we get home." You lean your head on his shoulder before speaking.
"Yeah that sounds pretty nice."
Once you got home you both sat on the couch in your PJ's watching a random movie. You looked over at him looking down at his phone as the shadows created by the TV hit his face creating shapes from nearby objects.
"Take a picture, it will last longer." you quickly look away slightly embarrassed.
"Sorry but it's not my fault you are so handsome." He puts his phone down and turns his head to look at you. His arm was wrapped around your shoulder, your head was resting on his arm while your body was tucked into his side.
"Same reason I am always staring at you... but I never get caught." You tilt your head to the side a bit confused by his sudden confession.
"You stare at me?" you asked already knowing the answer but needing a bit more time to process.
"How can I not stare at you when you are so pretty. I catch myself staring at your big beautiful eyes, wandering down to your cute button nose, and then settling my gaze on your lips. Especially if you have that Yummy lip gloss you bought from the drug store." Your mind could not believe what your ears were picking up on. The beating in your chest intensified as the tension rose and the silence over took you in a bubble wrapped around the two of you.
"Do you ever just want to risk it all?" You spoke up barely above a whisper. He inhaled deeply and moved a stray piece of hair behind your ear with his free hand.
"All the time but I don't want to ruin what we have." The thoughts in your head began to race as you calculated all the possible outcomes from both polar extremes.
"Communication is key... if we both risk it right here right now... promise we will communicate efficiently so we don't lose the friendship we once had." Chan looked over at you stunned and speechless. He examined your body language and your facial features gently placing his hand on your cheek. Resting his forehead against yours and rubbing the tip of his nose against yours, you close your eyes enjoying the moment waiting on his response.
"I promise" He whispers, leaning in all the way pressing his lips to yours in a very sweet, gentle, and passionate kiss. All the unsaid words and emotions pouring out and the tension bubble popping. The kiss deepens as you feel his heart beat against his chest where your hand rested.
You both risked it all and you both made a promise that in the future will strengthen your relationship.
(A/N: I tried to change it to a different member since I do write more about Dino than any other number but I just couldn't. It screamed Dino to me so here is another Dino oneshot! I am working on a few other members that I think will surprise you all)
