You woke up on the couch with Esmeraldas fingers in your mouth, you spat them out and sat up with a throbbing headache, that made no sense since you didn't drink last night....or did you?.
You rubbed your head and groaned, this woke Esmeralda up, she seemed to be fine though "good morning-" she said as she opened her phone and gasped "12:00?!?!" She yelled, you grabbed her phone to look at it, a sharp pain going through your head, you saw the time and gasped as well "far out.." you said getting up but sat back down grabbing your head in pain. "hey are you alright?" She said, concerned, she rubbed your back "yeah I'm alright.." Esmeralda looked at you and sighed "I'll clean this mess up, you lay down and rest, I'll grab you some medicine " she looked like she had a bit of a headache too.

"You alright esmy?" You asked her and she put the rubbish in the bin "yeah just a bit of a headache, after taking medicine we should be good though "
She said as she looked in the medicine cabinet for ibuprofen.
"Uhhhh....y/n, we don't have any ibuprofen left.." she said as she groaned both from the medicine loss and her headache.
"Fuck, what are we going to do, everyone's busy and we can't go out like this" you said, you felt your phone buzz, you picked it up and looked at the notification, Esmeralda talking in the background started blurring out. It was Claude he asked if you were awake, you replied and told him you were and  about last night, "hey should I ask Claude if he can bring some?" Esmeralda smiled "yes PLEASE" she begged, you nodded and called him.

You walked slowly to the bathroom to brush your teeth with you phone in your hand, Claude answered "hello dear how are you?" He asked, god you missed his voice "hey Claude I'm doing okay" ,"that's good dear, why did you call is something wrong?" He asked concerned "well...kinda, I don't wana sound sound desperate but I am right now, if it's not too much could you go to the store and get some ibuprofen for me please ? Me and Esmeralda woke up with throbbing headaches and I can't remember if we drank last night, you can come over and stay for a while too if you'd like" you said, He replied "of course I can dear, i'd like that very much I'll be there shortly " he said softly "thank you so much, my apartment room is number 17" you said "okay got it ,I'll see you soon dear goodbye" he said as he hung up.
"Thank god " you whispered as you started to brush your teeth, you got changed into some grey track pants and a white crop top, you put your hair in two plats , leaving some strands out in the front, Esmeralda got cleaned up and changed into the same outfit but just black, after you got cleaned up you both started cleaning around the apartment a bit before Claude came.

You both sat on the couch in the living room and waiting for him to arrive, until you heard a knock at your door you smiled and looked at Esmeralda, she looked back at you nervously since it was going to be her first time meeting Claude.
You walked to the door and opened it,looking up at Claude and smiled in excitement, happy to see him, you hugged him and he hugged you back "hello dear" he said softly as the hug broke, he saw Esmeralda and smiled at her kindly and waved at her (let's forget about what would've happened if it was cannon frollo😭) "hello frollo" Esmeralda said with a smile as she walked up to you two, he nodded and smiled back "hello Esmeralda, it's nice to finally meet you" he said politely "it's nice to meet you too " she said back as she took the bag from him and went to the kitchen.

You let Claude in and closed the door behind him,you walked to the couch and told Claude to come and sit next to you, "this is a lovely apartment you both have" you nodded and smiled "thank you" you were smiling so hard, and blushing, he was wearing home clothes, a grey T-shirt and black pants, how cute. He spotted djali and his eyes lit up "I didn't know you had a cat y/n" he smiled.
"Yeah I must of forgot to mention it " you chuckled as he gently picked djali up,he didn't seem to mind Claude which was surprising, Claude sat back down next to you with djali in his arms, holding him like a baby. You and Esmeralda laughed as she brought you the ibuprofen and some water,you took the pills and drank all the water, feeling instantly refreshed.

Some time passed and you were all talking about recent things while eating fruit, frollo spoke about his work and you and Esmeralda spoke about university and how you guys met.
"Me and Esmeralda were in the same class in year 8/8th grade, we got seated next to each other by our English teacher and become inseparable ever since" you smiled at each other, Esmeralda spoke "then when we graduated and decided to go to the same university and move in together,we just couldn't be apart from each other " , Claude smiled at the both of you "that's very sweet" be said looking at you.
"So Claude do you have any friends or family around here?" Esmeralda asked, you waited for Claude's Answer since you also wanted to know, he rarely spoke about his family besides his younger brother  so it would be nice to know something, "yeah I do,my younger brother Jehan lives close to here"
Esmeralda raised her eyebrows "Jehan hm,that name sounds familiar, are you guys close?" He took a second to think about it before replying "not really if I'm being completely honest,we aren't similar in any way so we don't really have anything to be close for at our age " that saddened you a bit, you wondered if he wish it wasn't like that and that he was close with his brother.

You guys continued talking , you and Esmeralda told Claude about Clopin and Hugo and how they are the funniest, goofiest and kindest people y'all know. Claude listened to everything you two were saying but he was only staring at you the whole time, although you didn't notice, Esmeralda did and she seemed to take note of it, smirking at how he looked at you with admiration as you laughed at old memories and stories.
Esmeralda went to her room to study for uni so she left you and Claude alone, "would you like to see my room ?" You asked him as he stroked your hair, you two were sitting together on the couch "of course I would dear" you smiled and grabbed his hand and led him to your room, he looked around and smiled at everything he saw, "what a cute room y/n" he said kindly "thanks " you said as you laid on your bed. Claude looked around more, snooping
In your books and looking at your Polaroid photos you had on your wall near your desk he chuckled seeing some photos of you pulling faces at the camera,he then laid eyes on one photo, a toddler, "who's this y/n? Is this you as a baby?" He showed you the photo and sat on your bed next to you (he took his shoes off at the door btw) , "yeah it is,I was 2" you smiled while looking at the photo , he pointed to the woman next to you "and who is this? Your mother?" You nodded and pointed to the man on your other side "that's my father" Claude smiled at the photo, "you looked so adorable " you agreed.
Some time passed and you were laying next to each other on your bed talking about sweet nothings, you checked the time and saw it was 8:00pm, you looked at Claude "hey it's getting late isn't Quasimodo at home?" You asked concerned, Claude stroked your hair "you're right, I should get going now" .

You got up and walked to the door, so did he, "I'm sorry Claude I think Esmeralda fell asleep" you sighed "it's okay,just tell her it was lovely meeting her, she's a amazing friend y/n you're lucky to have her " he said kindly "yeah you're right, she really is the best".
He finished putting his shoes on and you both held each other as you hugged, you really didn't want Claude to leave but Quasimodo needs his father home, "thank you for getting the medicine and coming over" you said softly,looking into his blue eyes, and him looking back into your (y/e/c) eyes "it's alright dear, i enjoyed visiting you, I'll invite you over one day I promise " he said tucking some hair behind your ear.
You kissed him and he kissed you back, a short loving kiss is just what you needed from him, he held your face and kissed your forehead "goodbye my love" he said as he let go of your hand "goodbye ,I'll see you soon okay?" He nodded and smiled lovingly at you as he walked off.
You closed the door, your heart racing and your breathing got faster, you were head over heels for this man.
