Janet couldn't control the tears that fell as she helped toni her best friend since kindergarten gather up the last little bit of her belongings that were placed in moving boxes in the right hand corner of her now old room..
Wow I never noticed how big my room was until now..Toni joked to hide her pain letting her eyes travel over at her best friend who has sadness written all on her face....Instantly toni eyebrows creased with a frown placing the small box she carried back on the hardwood floor motioning over to janet who just stood still knowing that after today her best friend would no longer be in her presence because Toni and her family were moving to Baltimore Maryland due to her father's new job offer...
Quickly removing the box away from the arms of janet's ....The short bestie reached her hands out and up wiping the stray tears with her thumbs that continually fell from her friends deep brown eyes..
Stop crying you gon make me cry!.. Toni whispered shakley pulling janet into a loving comforting hug... That only brought more tears to fall.. Not only from janet's but now toni's... I can't help it Tiny T.. I just can't believe that after today I won't see you any mor- TONI AND JANET ARE YALL OKAY UP THERE!?..The best friends jumped in each other's arms at the sound of toni's mother who shouted from the bottom of the stairs case at them both...
Quickly they removed their arms from around each other as sniffles echoed throughout toni's empty cold room picking back up the last two boxes making their way downstairs... While coming down them toni eyes instantly locked with her mother who stood with her arms folded across her chest as her left hand rubbed her right arm up and down soothingly..
Toni's mother face grew with concern catching toni and janets facial expression that held sorrow knowing the impact of her husband's new job is starting to tear her daughter's friendship apart...
Just when Mrs. Evelyn was about to say her peace.. Her husband walked back through the front door smiling ear to ear excited to see what's up the road...Alright baby everything is packed up in the truck and the kids are stap- Toni's father smile faded as he looked between his wife's and daughter's sad faces... He then noticed how janet kept her teary eyes on the box she continually held for toni..
Instead of saying anything that could lead to toni hating him more he exhaled deeply walking over to janet draping his left arm over her shoulder.... Now janet I know this is hard for you and my babygirl to be away from each other....
But Just know that anytime you wanna come visit you already know that our house will always be open for you .. Mr. Braxton beamed giving janet a friendly smile.... But still janet couldn't form a smile on her face even if she tried...
Awwee please don't look so sad janet... Mrs. Braxton pleaded motioning closer to her lifting up janet's chin with her index finger wanting them to look

Toni's mother serched the young woman's eye's that in a instant tore Mrs. Braxton's heart in two... While toni's father took a quick glance at his watch that was placed on his right wrist seeing that it's now 2:30p.m... Quickly he removed his arm from around janets shoulder grabbing the box she still held onto from toni's room.. Here let me take these boxes to the truck come on babe grab the other from toni and let's give them their time to say there good byes cause we need get on the road..
Doing what was told Mrs. Braxton gave janet a farewell soothing hug smiling faintly at her as she removed herself taking the last box from her daughter toni who couldn't keep her eyes off of her only best friend who looked so hurt and lost at this point..
Toni mother opened and shut the front door leaving the the two alone....Nothing but dead silence stood throughout the now big empty house... Janet decided to break it by inhaling and exhaling deeply motioning slowly towards her bestie reaching out removing the stray tears away from her face with the back of her hand.. Without saying anything toni threw her arms around janets shoulders hugging her close to her one last time... Ima miss you so much JJ I don't wanna let go... Toni sniffled squeezing janet tighter.... Then don't TT I- I can't let you leave me... Ima miss like crazy bestie..
