"There you guys are!" Lay smiled.
They were all having a cookout outside. It wasn't far from the school but it was somewhere where the fan girls wouldn't find us. D.O and I found a post-it on my door saying to meet them here.
"What's the occasion?" I gave stole Lay's chips from his side.
"Stop eating Lays" Kai chortled. I rolled my eyes on that very cheesy jokes but I couldn't help but to smile.
Lay grabbed another chip, "Nothing, we just love meat"
"I want a hamburger" I patted his back. He nodded and focused on cooking the meat on the grill. Sometimes I think he's younger than me but he's not...
"Hey, Gem!" Chen attacked me. I would've fallen backwards if Kai didn't give me a hand. Nobody helped Chen, and he face planted.
"...'Sup?" I grinned. I stole a chip from Kai's plate too.
"You're gonna turn fat" he poked my cheeks.
"YAH!!!" Kris closed the gap between us. He actually stood between us...
"What is it this time?" I rolled my eyes.
"I'm fine when Lay does something but Kai?!" Kris outraged.
"Stop acting like you're my freaking boyfriend!" I shouted.
"They're fighting again" Luhan told Sehun. They were playing soccer with Xiumin and Chanyeol.
"Sooo, I'm gonna leave" Kai stepped away.
"Maybe I shouldn't even bother!" Kris thought it hurt me. But it honestly didn't!
"You will grant my one and only wish!" I spit out the words dramatically.
"Good! Then we're over!" He walked away.
"We were never together to begin with, you retard!" I sighed my annoyance.
"I'll always be here, baby!" Baekhyun hugged me.
"Great" I resisted the hug. Niel appeared but I scrunched up my nose when he fell down out of nowhere.
"Ow! I tripped over a rock! There's grass in my suit and hair!" He complained. Who would where a suit to begin with?!
Suho gasped, "Is that Maggaret Voushplan?!"
"Yes, I barely bought it" Niel quickly stood up and fan girled with Suho. Rich boys...
I went to sit next to Tao.
"Tao, I'm grateful" I let out a breath.
"Why, Krystal-ah?" He nibbled the cookie.
"Because... You seem to be the only-" I stopped and my face dropped.
"I'm the cookie monster, aumh aumh!" He took a selca. Was he even listening to me?!
Fuck it, I'm done with normality.
We all ate once Lay finished. It almost reminded me of elementary school and those field days. All of us, kids, would gather and play outside with the activities. I would always run for the water balloon fight... I remember! I REMEMBER!!
