Part 2

"You're back!" Chen hugged me.

"Yep, and I really need to sit down," I pushed him away and anxiously sat down.

"Are you okay, babe?" Kris kissed my forehead. I didn't dare to look at Kris in the eyes. I wouldn't be able to predict what would happen if I did. Instead, I looked down, or anywhere but his eyes.

"Yeah, just a little tired," I dryly laughed as I tried to reduce the pain by crouching over just a little. I noticed Kris anxiously looking over me. "Should we go to the  hospital already?"

"Better be safe than sorry, right?" Again, I gave him a short, dry laugh.

As I grabbed onto his hand for support, I couldn't help but squeeze it from the sharp pain I felt in my whole body. What made me almost shed a tear was not the pain but the fact that Kris squeezed my hadn't three times and I just knew what he meant by that. I smiled up at him, somehow easier to look at his eyes. We started walking when Xiumin held his hands up and sarcastically said, "You're welcome!"

"For?"

Xiumin rolled his eyes and only pointed at Kris and back to his own hand that was covered in a white bandage. "Let's just say, he was never good at handling his own strength."

As we arrived in the hospitals, our own team of nurses and a doctor were waiting patiently. I somehow felt touched by the amount of care she was receiving at the moment. I will never, ever forget.

When we got inside the room, Kris' leg blocked the EXO members from entering any further. "Where do you think you're going?" Kris asked them. One by one they scratched their heads and came up with excuses but Kris wasn't buying anything. "You guys can wait out here until our baby is ready and Krystal is well-rested.

All of them started to file back outside and Kris shut the door behind him. He brushed his hands together like he had done a job well-done. And he did, he was doing everything right as if... as if he was prepared for everything.

"Hey, love," I waited until he turned to look at me, "I love you."

"I love-" I interrupted his response by engaging all my attention to him, "No, I love you. Forever."

He had a face of worry as he looked around for extra pillows to give me cushion. "I can't believe we're doing this."

I bit my lips and clawed my way through the hospital bed but to my dismay, nothing was working against the contractions.

"My baby is coming," I widened my eyes.

As soon as I said that, the team on call hurried to their stations and started preparing everything.  I practiced the breathing exercises Kris taught me one night. He wanted to make sure I knew every possible way to decreasing the pain including sleeping with a subliminal about increasing pain tolerance.

"In a couple minutes, you're going to be a mom, Mrs. Krystal." The doctor announced. The word 'Mrs' ringed in my ears and echoed in my head. I liked, no, I loved the sound of that. It's an unfortunate event, I won't be able to enjoy for a long time.

"Push when I say push," the doctor voice started to thinly disappear into the chaos my body was going through. I just wanted to see my baby already.

After a few more cries and screams and pushing Kris all over the place, my baby was out.

"Let me see-"

"We're not done. Keep pushing. the second baby is coming," the doctor pleaded as I started to close my legs.
