Roman POV

Quietly, I stood in the doorway to the bedroom and smiled as I watched my wife pack her suitcase. She wanted to accompany me over the weekend to the shows now that her morning sickness was a bit better.

Rose hummed to herself while she packed one item after the other into her suitcase. She had a cracker between her lips. As she always had in the last weeks. She had many different crackers on hand to nibble on. So I made sure that we always had enough boxes in the house.

Eventually I had enough of watching and went to my glowing Rose. Slowly, I wrapped my arms around her middle. Then I pressed a kiss into the small hollow just below her ear. Immediately I heard her sigh softly and put her hands on my arms which held her loosely.

"I love you." I whispered in her ear and noticed with satisfaction how goose bumps formed on her skin.

"Mmmh... I love you too." she replied softly.

"How are we doing today?" I wanted to know as I began to gently rock us back and forth.

"Very well. I was finally able to sleep all night." replied Rose.

"That's what I like to hear. We should head out now. I know you can't wait to see Seth." I said, giving her another lingering kiss on the temple.

"True, but I can't wait even less to go out with my husband tonight. Mommy needs lots of love and care. So does the baby." she said.

"Oh I know and I will spoil my girls with everything they desire. Lots of food and cuddles." I promised.

"I can't wait. Let's go then." she replied as I broke away from her and zipped up her suitcase.

And although we didn't know yet if we really had a girl on the way, Rose didn't say anything about it this time.

Then she turned to me, took my face in her hands and gave me a long, loving kiss. If it had been up to me, I would have liked to stay at home and spend the whole day in bed with my wife talking about us, about the baby and our future.

----------------

A few hours later we had landed in the city of the show and were now already on our way to the arena. Rose was excited to finally share our news with our other family, but especially with one person.

Rose was beside herself with joy when she found out that Seth and Becky also had a baby on the way. It had taken her quite a bit of willpower not to say anything about our baby because we didn't know how far along Rose was at that point. And if everything was alright with our bean.

In addition, Rose wanted to congratulate Seth in person, not just over the phone. On that occasion, he would hear about our surprise.

"Shall I get you something to eat before we make it to the arena?" I asked my wife who was still munching on crackers.

"Oh yes! I want chicken strips.... no, wait... a burger.... or maybe pasta instead? Oh god I don't know. Hmmmm..... I think protein is a good choice... that's why I want chicken." she gushed excitedly.

I could not help but laugh. I was so glad that she had a good appetite. And for sure she could eat what she wanted. It was so different than it was last year. I couldn't be more thankful for it.

"How about we get you a little bit of everything?" I suggested.

Rose POV

"Oh my gosh! This is so delicious!" I said as I dipped my chicken strips in the tomato sauce before devouring it.

"That's great. Although it doesn't look very appetizing." Roman laughed.

"The baby thinks so anyway." I giggled and ate the leftovers.

"Alright, baby girl. I'm off to my meeting. It shouldn't take long. I guess you want to go find Seth?" said Roman a short time later after we went through security.

"Yep. See you later, Ro." I said, reaching out for him for a kiss.

Then I went in search of my brother from another mother. Where the hell was he? Usually his voice and laughter could be heard from far away....

It took a few more minutes before I finally found him. Seth was signing autograph cards. That explains why he had nothing to laugh about.

"Hello stranger!" I said to get his attention.

"Rose!" he squeaked as he looked up at me.

Seth jumped to his feet and hugged me tightly.

"Congratulations again, Seth. I'm so happy for you guys!" I said.

"Thank you, Rose. That means a lot to me. I'm so excited. And I'm happy to see you!" he replied as he pulled me even tighter to him and just lifted me off my feet.

"Hey, careful! Baby on board!" I giggled.

Seth immediately put me back on my feet and stared at me like he had misheard.

"What, you're also...?" he stuttered.

"Yes! You're going to be not only a Daddy, but also an uncle. And I'm not only going to be an auntie, I'm going to be a mommy!" I replied with tears in my eyes.

"Congratulations, Rosie! I can't believe it. What a great year!" he said.

I wrinkled my nose and pulled his hair. He still hadn't learned.

"It'll be an even better year when you finally stop using that nickname!" I retorted.

Never in my life would I admit that the name had grown on me.
