A life not my own

Ugh, that was a good nap... Everything feels so bright though....

I hear chatter, yet I can't quite pinpoint what's being said... Must be the end of class then. I open my eyes, Only to be met by a bright light, and the realisation I am NOT still in class.... What the hell!?! As I focus in, I can begin to hear the chatter I thought to be my peers become more distinct, with voices I have never heard before. I take a glance around my surroundings, seeing a hospital-like room, before suddenly a tall woman bursts through the door frantically. What the?-

She locks eyes on me, and as she turns her head like an owl, her already messy long blonde her flicks into her face, and her small crown almost falling off her head, with her catching it and placing it back on just in time. She's wearing a poofy dress, that gets caught on her heel as she begins to run towards me, stopping just at the bed I have only now realised I am in.

"Amber! Oh my god sweetie, you had me so worried!" She said, leaning on my bed, pure relief written across her face. Amber? That's not my name..... I looked at her in disbelief, before fixing it to

"Don't scare me like that sweetie.. and what did I tell you about using the wand?" Right. So this lady clearly believe she's my mother... And what does she mean by a wand? Still, this could be fun.... and I AM an actress (Well, I take drama, same thing right? Technically no but bear with me).

"Sorry..." I muttered, pretending to be ashamed. Now, I need to figure out what "Amber" had done with this "wand". This is likely an elaborate prank, but I need to go with it. Keep my guard up, and suspicion down. I'm going to assume by wand she doesn't mean a baguette, and like a magic wand, similar to those from Harry Potter. It's also safe to assume what she did was stupid, that she shouldn't have been using this wand, and it's what hospitalized her. All safe assumptions, you can't go far wrong with that.

The lady looked over to another area of the room, of which I could not quite see, and began walking over. "Do you reckon she's good to leave..?" She said, looking rather nervous "I want to get her back in her room as soon as possible, The beds here aren't very nice..." I noted that comment, as I thought the bed I was in was quite comfy, btu if she thought the one in "my" room was even better, then boy that was gonna be nice...

"Chill, Star, yeah we can move her back whenever. I don't think she needs monitering anymore, it was really just a precaution whilst she was still out." a strange voice replied. Star? I'm going to assume that's the name of the lady.

"Thanks, Hekapoo, I'll get her over," Star said, turning to me and smiling.  Ok, the name Star was weird but OK, but Hekapoo? What sort of person names their child Hekapoo? Still, maybe it's just foreign.

"Sweetie, You're OK to move back to your room!" She said, beaming. "Here, let me help you." She grabbed my hand and helped me up, and guided me out of the room. Hopefully she'd show me to the bedroom, because if 'm expected to know where it is, then I'm kind of screwed. I followed her up many halls and corridors, and it all felt so... surreal. If it were a prank, the hospital was overkill enough, but this? This is dedication. I'm starting to doubt it's a prank....
