"So, at first we were thinking about you staying with your uncle Marco, but I think he's had enough of magic princesses living in his house," She giggles "Plus, you'll need a friend. Instead of in America where I went, your father suggested you got the the UK instead!" She says, smiling.

The UK? That's where I'm from! That'll be nice, at least, a taste of home...

"So, what do you think of that?" She asks, looking at me across the table, setting her cutlery down.

"Sounds great! But, where exactly would I be staying out of school hours?" I ask doubtfully. I do NOT want to live in a strangers house.

"Well, you've never met her, but your uncle Marco has a sister in the UK, her name's Mariposa! She's said you can stay with her!"

At least she's not as much a stranger as an actual stranger... So she's my aunt? Wait, no, uncle Marco isn't actually related to Star, so unless Mariposa knows her really well, she's not my aunt. This is confusing.

"That sounds nice!" I say happily, before quickly realising I'd be leaving my nice new room behind...

"Right so beofre you go, I'll teach you the spell my mama taught me, to take your room with you!" She says, smiling at me. Ah. Problem solved!

"So, you're going to earth, huh?" Glossaryck says, scratching his chin.

"Yeah! S- Mama's teaching me a spell to take my room with me, I'm moving in with Mariposa." Oops, almost tripped up there- He already knows, but its a habit worth getting into. Amber always calls Star "mama", it's in her diary.

"Oh yeah, I taught HER that spell when she was your age. Wait. Mariposa? Like, Meteoras little friend?" He says incredulously

"I dunno," I shrug. He knows I'm not Amber, so he SHOULD know I have no idea. I don't quite think he's getting it, though.

I finish brushing out my hair and put the hairbrush in the drawer.

"Hey Glossaryck, mind going away for a bit? I'm about to get changed." I say, gesturing for him to scram.

"Oh yeah sure," He says quickly, flying out of the room, closing the door behind him. I take a look at my wardrobe, because like hell am I wearing this poofy dress to earth. It's gorgeous, but definitely not practical. I find in the closet a plain black dress, with just a pentagram in red on the centre. It's gorgeous, but I know fully well I'd get an earful from random strangers when it's that obvious.

I fid, closer to the back, a dull red dress that goes down to knees, but that won't do, it does NOT look good on me, I tried it on, but I look to monochromatic when wearing it, and that's my worst nightmare. I can't find a nice dress, so I instead turn to the shirts and skirts. I pick out an adorable little red shirt with a black heart on it, poofy sleeves and all, and I find a gorgeous black skirt, not quite knee length, and put them on. I also pick out some black socks that go just below my knees, and the outfit is almost complete, just as I hear a knocking on the door.

"Are you done yet?" I hear Glossaryck call through the doorway, as I adjust a pretty sunhat I found, to hide the horns.

"Yeah, I'm pretty much done," I say, and he flies back in to look at my outfit just as I slip on a pretty pair of sleek black boots I found on.

"Huh, not bad. I thought you'd wear a dress, but that works too, I guess. Your mum sent me to go get you, your fathers carriage is ready to take you to earth!" He says, smiling and guiding me to the red carriage outside as I finish applying some blush and concealer to conceal the marks on my cheeks. Now, I just look strange, but still human!
